I think the entire Guardian news team most likely agree with that article if we're being honest, they're a pretty heavily left wing news organisation, I doubt anyone working there wouldn't describe them self as a feminist and share most the opinions in that article.

It's basically saying Depp only one because the jury were duped/fell for a classic abuse defence and judges and lawyers are normally too smart too.
