Need to make up some of that soft 'butter' you get in the usa (in a ice cream scoop) learned the other week you just keep beating double cream until it apparently seperates.

Ended up with four cheeses; emmental, red leceister, gruyère and extra mature cheddar with a generous splash of Worcester sauce. Scratched that itch perfectly

Gotta be 3-4 cheese for me, a classic. A good, strong, mature cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan and then sometimes another cheese, but depends on what I've got in.

I cold smoked some bacon last night and popped a big lump of medium cheddar in with it. Had the resulting smoked cheddar in a cheese and marmite toastie today. OMFG - lushtastic!!!

As much as I like to have more sophisticated cuisines, when it comes to toasties there’s nothing like having guilty pleasures...

Cheese and salad cream
Cheese and pickle
Corned beef and pickle
Cheese, ham (or bacon) with pickled red cabbage
Tuna, cheese and pineapple (must be fresh pineapple or pineapple in juice)

Cheese and pickle when you get that caramalised pickle and melted cheese crust where its oozed out the side. Amazing.
