Today's mass shooting in the US

The Spanish Inquisition was centuries ago, when the world was a savage and unenlightened place. The US has no such excuse.

You said in 2000 years, so I pointed out where you were wrong

So am I full of Hysteria and ignorance still?

I think you can visit and hang around in the day time in most areas and be relatively safe, even if the murder rate is 30x higher than London, I assume you'd be happy to spend a month in London without worrying about being murdered? So essentially, go for a visit, don't live there.

nothing says my work will take place always during the day time.
Also assumed incorrectly, even though I work in London a lot, I refuse to stay in London and certainly would never live in London, regardless if its a week, month, year.

What other practical steps do you take to avoid dying? I assume you're in good shape, exercise, etc

not really, bit over weight at the moment, have'nt done any BJJ since covid begun, barely exercised since covid begun.

I take precautions as to not walk through a group of youngsters with hoods up and something shiny hanging out their trousers which are half way down their leg. Mainly due to they would then be within fighting and stabbing range.

I would have to be MILES away from everyone and anyone to take similar precautions in the US.

US is not that dangerous given the size of its population, visited many times and lived there for a year about 10 years ago. Generally always felt safe walking around Atlanta and Boston, just as I do in London.

The worry some non US citizens have about getting shot in the US is a bit like brits who live outside of London thinking they are going to get stabbed walking down the street. For the most part the cities are quite safe even with a homicide rate 20x that of London or whatever the figure is.

My main problem with living in the states is that about 25-30% of the population are super religious weirdos.

This is what is making it such a broken country.

The most perverse part of it is, is that this group are probably the least christian of everyone!

You've completely missed my point. The US version is still the worst because it retains the barbarism of centuries ago despite existing in a more enlightened era.

Oh i missed the bit where they're burning thousands of people at the stake in the US, can you post a link?

Not a mass shooting but this kid is surely showing all the signs of psychopathy?

The boy is said to have a history of "disturbing behaviour", including swinging a puppy around by its tail when he was four.
