The Senna piece was unexpected and wonderfully done...made a brilliant end to the program from the usual challenges.
Oddly enough I thought of Senna while watching the German grand prix...I'm amazed how the cars have changed in 20 years and since his death in 1994 (the first year I watched F1) nobody in F1 has died since (thankfully). Most of the safety changes where made, but only after the death of a legend.

Agreed.
The challenges are tremedous but Top Gear is more than capable of segments like last night's wondeful Senna piece.
More of that please TG.
Was looking for this tread under the TV area lol.
Was a great episode, missed the first 15 minutes but don't think anything happened then.
Was mad how quick the Bugatti picked up speed, watching the numbers go up and up.
The Tom and Cameron interview was ok to watch, one of the longer interviews i think. I keep hearing though that their laps weren't that quick so umm?
The Senna bit was cool. He's a mad man; the moves and chances he took were insane. I was like "what the hell is he doing?" when he jumped out of his car to make sure the other guy was ok when he had a crash..

Great episode, really enjoyed the Senna piece and Lewis just keeps on gaining credibility and respect in my opinion.
It was much better than usual
The Veyron piece was very good, May is by far the best presenter
The Senna article was amazing
however the Tourag race was a joke with no useful purpose and who cares if Cruise/Diaz can drive or not ?

It's an entertainment show, it's 'purpose' was to entertain. And it did.
I don't know why so many people have an issue with that piece. It was an off-road rally-raid vehicle tearing down a snow covered mountain whilst a couple of nutters on ski-mobiles do ridiculous stunts around it, all in gorgeous HD with some truly stunning shots. What's not to like?

but it wasn't a race as they made it out to be
what you say is exactly what it was but please they shoudln't treat us like we are stupid by making it out to be something that is isn't
So true, if it isn't a real race, why call it a race, why not just show the video as is?
Because 90% of people have better things to worry about.

Agreed.
Thing is i bet more people would want to see them driving round than some of the 'celebrities' that are on other episodes. I thought it was a great interview and some rather entertaining film.
