Tower block fire - london

I got gained my degree years and years ago. Plus Mock all you like , doesn't bother me....All it does is highlight inadequacies in your response.

Again you have devalued academia today....

Based on what exactly?

By bet is you got a Desmond?

:D

You got gained?! Lol

You seem genuinely proud of your achievement so who am I to mock. I'm sure your colleagues at the BBC value your experience.

It's a fire people die it can happen, lets over throw the government which had nothing to do with it over a small number of people dieing, get a grip. People have wayyyy to easy lives.

It's a serious fire, one of the worst high rise fires for decades not just in this country but across the world.

100 odd people is not small.

I dont think it was a genuine human exchange i think corbyn was there for a photo opportunity. a carefully stage managed photo with the grieving families.

He could have organised a meeting with them in private away from the media. expressed his concerns to them told them what he would try to do to help. how he would push the goverment for answers etc. but that wouldnt have got his face on the news.

The guy is still fighting the election. or the next one that he hopes will come by very soon,

And soon after he leaves the place is flooded with corbyn supporters and the socialist worker turns up. next thing you know the councill office doors are getting kicked in and there is a march through london.

All carefully stage managed to get massive media exposure. to show how nasty the tories are but what a jolly nice chap that corbyn guy is did you see him on the news hugging that poor women what a nice guy job done seed planted,

the old stage managed, for decades, fighting for humanity approach?

BS Post

Kensington Voted Labour in.

Why wouldn't the leader go and meet the people who voted him into that constituency

Next

But he didnt go to meet them after they voted in a Labour MP

He went to meet then AFTER a tragic fire in the area

with the sole intention of getting his face on the news hugging a grieving relative..

NEXT media studies boy....

It's not right that this whole event is being used as a platform to promote political agenda. It's pretty vile and so soon after the event too.

First of all might I suggest you get your sentence structure in order. Show some compassion? this is a tragic avoidable loss of life, councils are part of the government, there is clearly negligence here.

The forum rules prevent me from giving this post the response it deserves.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did Theresa May not use the London terror attack to promote her political agenda? She used the terror attack in an attempt to promote government regulation of social media, the internet in general and putting backdoors into encryption.

Lol, I see easyrider has been on the sherry again :D

Let's be honest, you drive an MX5. No amount of letters can make up for that :p

As I said earlier, if your opinion differs with someone why not explain your difference and avoid the personal. On numerous occasions I've seen this "bunch of buddies with personal jibes" approach to try and "win" something out of an observably lost/false position!

On a side note, what are the neighbours and wider london community doing to help the survivors? i know over the country ther have been collections and donations made but aside from that, ive heard very little of the local community coming together to support.

I know its not the same, but its a huge contrast form the coverage of manchester when there was a huge response from the community.

that was what you and easy where doing last night wasnt it?

i mean you called me sick for pointing out it was being abused for political gain by both sides.

seems a touch personal...

So here is an interesting point to put before everyone claiming the nasty party {Tories} are all to blame for this.

An Article in the NewStandard saying that the new Labour Mp for Kensington was on the Kensington and Chelsea housing scrutiny committee, which oversees ''community safety issues'' she was on that until May 2014.

A 2014/2015 report in which she was named says the committee she was on scrutinised the work on the Grenfell tower,

She was also on the board of Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation when the tower’s refurbishment was discussed.

And yet after the fire she pops up and blames the council for the fire when it seems she was on 2 seperate committee's that were involved in the refurbishment. why not speak up then when she was overseeing the work on the tower ?
