Trading the stockmarket (NO Referrals)

not sure why people buy into the hype that he's a good business man.

facts show that if he placed the cash that he's dad gave to him in to a tracker, he be a lot richer and won't be in debt.
a lot of his current debts are due to the lawsuites that he's lost, but he's likely to pardon himself if/when he gets into the white house.. meanwhile he's been flogging cyptro and MAGA hats, I guess this is the greatest marketing scheme ever. lol

probably a blip, will drop as quick as it went up.

thing is, do I sell while it's very green and buy back low or hold.
I'm always tempted to do this but with Vanguard, it always takes several days to sell and buy in and by that time the gains or potential losses become flatter so unless there is a specific long-term indicator I just let it ride.

Would have done the same if I thought he'd win. Rubbish company IMO but a good election trade.
Tesla up 15% pre-market at the moment, another good Trump win election trade.
Prison stocks up (CXW, GEO for example) and cannabis stocks down, as expected.

True enough. I suppose if you were savvy and responsive enough with quick sell/buys on these periodic blips, it's a great way to maximise all potential profits but I'm too risk adverse with playing about with potentially large sums of money. I acknowledge the greater rewards though if you're willing to surf!

Totally failed to make the link before that the psychedlic biotech company I've got a big punt on is heavily backed by Peter Thiel, who's pulling Vance's strings. Nice bump today and hopefully a nice payoff from this nonsense over the next few years.

I like the new heatmap they added on T212 not long ago

Another good day, GO TRUMP :D and I guess robinhood had earnings and beat expectations by a lot

I must be crazy because I just bought some more INTC about 20% more to try and average down a bit.

I now only need intel to go up about 5$ :I I bet trump doesn't like the CHIPS act.

CHIPS act isn't really relevant if everything from China gets hit with 60% tax sending inflation through the roof. It will give companies with US fabs (i.e. Intel) a massive advantage.

Some nice increases over the last 24 hours for sure but until its materialised its nothing really. At least the on paper profit looks good :D

Far better to talk in percentage terms really, in my experience there is only one type of person that uses monetary values :)

yeah - even at a 20% daily increase across an investment/portfolio, it would mean having £500k invested to make £100k in a day....

Should maybe get a job in Wall Street with those returns.... :p
