Some reports saying we have agreed a £160,000/week deal for Shaw as well as whatever transfer fee has been agreed. If that is true it is utter madness. He is a good young player but we are going to end up forking over £25m plus as well as giving a 19 year old wages that are astronomical for someone so young. What do you pay him in 5/10 years time.

Yep, pretty much confirmed as fake, Goal.com are about on par with the Daily Star.
The Guardian did quote £100k/week a while back, which may be true with some sort of performance related clauses (and even then it's probably too high).
Lukaku will never be consistently good enough for a top side competing in multiple tournaments. He's at the right level being a good player in an Everton side for half the season. I'd like to have kept him because we have had some poor strikers in the last decade but he aint worth more than 15m.
Manchester United’s Louis Van Gaal eyes up move for Alexis Sánchez
Alexis Sánchez has been identified by Louis van Gaal as a summer target for Manchester United, with the manager considering a move for the £20m-rated Barcelona forward.
Although United’s interest has yet to reach any advanced stage, the manager is a firm admirer of the Chile international, who will face Van Gaal’s Holland during the World Cup in Brazil.
United would want to sell one or two of their forward players to ensure Van Gaal’s squad remains uncluttered if Sánchez were to arrive. This would mean that Nani, Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia and Shinji Kagawa, plus possibly the strikers Javier Hernández and Danny Welbeck, could be under threat as the manager assesses his new squad and how he wants the side to play.
Van Gaal has often utilised a 4-3-3, meaning he requires only one dedicated striker, with his team placing emphasis on pacy widemen. When in charge of Bayern Munich he operated with Franck Ribéry and Arjen Robben on the flanks in this fashion.
He's 20, claiming how good he'll be now is daft, consistency is something that almost always comes with age. Ronaldo, Messi, Bale, Costa, Villa, Ibra, just about all players are inconsistent to some degree and suddenly show that game in game out ability around 23-24. Lukaku has shown both fantastic performance for a 20 year old, significantly improvement year on year already, and is 20.
Sanchez is a wide player, so he'd be replacing Young/Valencia/Nani/etc.
Come back in 4 years, see who was right....
Manchester United are set to offer PSG €70m (£56m) for Edinson Cavani but are also willing to include Wayne Rooney as part of any deal to bring the forward to Old Trafford.
