hope this is true , I'd even pay the delivery fee :)

Arsenal eye Fellaini

Arsene Wenger remains a fan of Marouane Fellaini and could make a move for the Manchester United midfielder in the summer with the Belgian not thought to be in Louis van Gaal's plans.

Fellaini might make a decent target man for Arsenal if they play him up top, he can't be much worse than Giroud.

He fouls more, not sure I want to pay 100k a week to someone whose best ability is elbowing people and second best ability is to grow hair. I wouldn't put it past Wenger, he takes the squad, analyses it, then buys something it absolutely doesn't need in the apparent insane idea it would make us better. woo.

Likely BS though, when someone flops as badly as he has done you get their agents telling everyone that several almost top teams are really interested, to make other people think "maybe it was Moyes and he can be good somewhere else.. he must be good, Arsenal are interested..." then Alladyce will buy him for whichever club he's looking to turn into a boring pile of **** next year.

:p

I hope Felliaini serves as a reminder to everyone that that if something looks like ****, smells like **** and even worse, tastes like ****.

Chances are, it's ****.

He did have a great season with Everton playing up front though, it's just stupid that Moyes signed him for United when they've already got two world class strikers and so he was forced to play him in midfield where he looks disinctly average.

Didn't Moyes sign him to play him as a deep lying midfielder?

He only pushed him up front when they had no other option.

Nah Phil Neville did that job, Felliani had his best season when he was a CM but playing slightly advanced. He's not DM he can't tackle. When I say his best season I mean the 6 games he played well in a season.

Cahill was 10 times the player he is, better in the air, better on the ground, better at tackling and scored more goals. If only moyes had gone to Manu 5 years ago we would have got 60m for Cahill.

Thought I'd just post about Vela as I haven't in ages. Loads and loads of interest in 16 goal 3 assist Griezman, and fairly, he looks not at all bad. No one talking about Vela, 15 goals 11 assists(both league alone there).

First season at Sociedad 12 goals 7 assists, second season 14 goals 9 assists, third season now 15 goals 11 assists, with 2 more in the cup and 1 in the champs league.

He's always looked solid but lost 2-3 years playing time under Wenger. Actually playing games regularly he's improving every year but is a couple seasons behind where he should be. 8th top scorer and 6th top assister, 1 less than Bale, 2 less than Cesc.

Without much hype and potentially wanting to move on a load of clubs should be interested in him. He'd actually be a very very good buy for Everton, few weaknesses to his game, can play quite like Defelou(probably spelt wrong) when required, but is good in a variety of positions/roles, lone striker, wide player, is strong, has great delivery and a superb finisher.

Fell got like 14 in 35 last season last season did he not? Improving on that is all about confidence and momentum. It just all fell apart when him and Moyes went to United, he get's stuck in though, he has a good mentality. Just unfortunate that humans need arms to balance..

Wenger has it covered...saw this come up on fb the other day.

He'll obviously look at it during the summer properly and decide.

Prolly someone already pointed out but my this years award for best CB goes to Aymeric Laporte from Bilbao (along Miranda/Godin :) ). Great prospect, only 19 years old, already played most minutes in this year's Primera among his team, great tech/physical qualities (speed/height). Was really impressed with his last appearances against big 3, especially in Nou Camp, constantly stifling Messi.
Great catch for some big name club.

Yes he ticked the Asian player box but he was arguably Dortmunds best player for a few seasons when we bought him and the price we paid was very good considering that. We have just managed to build a horrendously un-balanced set of players over the past few seasons.

It did tick a box but considering we barely played him it was a useless transfer he's had zero impact.

If you look at what numbers reus posted when he moved to Dortmund he's scored many more goals in each season than Kagawa did.

I mean you guys do know that sponsors like Epson have multiple boxes and ship over exec fans from Tokyo etc . It's been a marketing sham from the start.
