Sky Sports say Di Maria is on the plane, landing at lunchtime ahead of his medical.
He's not asked the pilot to turn it around then after the game yesterday, woo.
He's forgotten to say that he's landing at Heathrow.

Not a Man Utd fan but surely they need a good CB and another CM before Di Maria?

Yes but Di Maria will likely be just as important. CM is the main problem area, we've got a capable enough defence, though it'll remain suspect without a better midfield ahead of it.

I'd argue the defence is possibly worse than last year. Rojo and Shaw make up for Evra/Büttner/Ferdinand, but the hole left by Vidic's departure hasn't been filled, imo.
Agreed. The annoying thing is that had he stayed he would have been perfect for the middle CB of a 3. His only glaring weakness (lack of pace) less likely to get exposed with CBs either side.
What experienced leader at the back could we buy? We're only interested in Benatia (supposedly) and he'll go to Bayern.
It'll be interesting to see how Rojo does... could quite possibly go either way, but I'm hopeful.
Totally agree, someone like Vidic would do nicely.
Edit:
Ron Vlaar? I actually quite like him.
That would be hilarious.Im just hoping rojo doesn't get sent down
