Sounds like BS. He is an UTD player now till he retires.

Would be epically and i mean absolutely epically funny if RVP handed in a transfer request wanting to go back to Arsenal.

Seriously though like the Ballo rumours, its just that rumours.

Wouldnt want him back at Arsenal anyways, hes past it now;) and can rot up north for all i care.

It might seem controversial but I'm not convinced that Utd losing Van Persie would be such a bad thing. I don't think Utd can carry 3 top class strikers, especially if they're not in the CL and are Rooney & RvP the ideal 2 to carry?

Both miss too many games due to injury as it is and as I said when he signed for Utd, I don't think RvP will age well. It's not like he and Rooney have struck up much of a partnership in the 18 months or so that they've played together either.

Obviously it would be a brave decision and the success would rest largely on his replacement but if Utd could bring in a younger, quality striker they might be better off both in the long and short term.

The treatment of RVP by Arsenal fans has been unsurprisingly awful. I would hope he wouldn't wish to play for them again. But if he did, we could have no complaints - this wasn't what he signed up for and he, like the entire squad deserves better.

They learnt most of their rvp songs from united fans...

Oh right so no hard facts then.

You can go about your business............................................move along, move along

What kind of business are you into? It's not one of those 'head in sand' deals is it?

Perhaps you missed the newsflash or chose to ignore it because you didn't watch the last couple of matches. .but anyway I'll leave this link just here and yiu can draw your own inferences

Has anyone got a pass map between the two of them from last season? Without that this stat is meaningless.

Exactly. There wasn't no real talk of them not getting along when everything was going well last season.

The team is under performing, we all know that. Some players morale is down and this shows on the pitch. One good performance, Rooney and RVP linking up and all this nonsense would be forgotten. People tend to read into things far too much.

I said they didn't get on last season in all fairness so it's not like I'm just jumping on the bandwagon now.

RVP and Ballo upfront could be interesting, wouldn't want the former to return though. Ballo on the other hand is a good character that the EPL needs.

So why are you making such a big issue of it now?

I recall him chirping on about it then as well.

Despite the fact you see them joking and chatting together every warm up session before a match... it's always them two together.

Also the lad likes to harp on about Moyes needing to go so much (as most of us do :) ) but evidently he has no idea why, because he hasn't worked out the correlation between Rooney and RVP's lack of passing and the emphasis on wing play.

The ball goes out to the wings now Nicky boy, they get the ball, and supply it out wide. We don't have striker link up any more. It's get the ball, push it out wide, run for the box. RVP plays centrally. Rooney won't be passing it there under Moyes' Direction.
