Blind is another player who can play lb / lcb and midfield.

Utd need quality but they also new new faces and numbers. Although not a best of the best its another player in that can cover 3 positions

Smaller league to the di Maria story and all that but Hull City have now signed Michael Dawson on a three year deal. So it appears we have now have now had the two Dawson brothers at the club.

We’re delighted to announce that Angel Di Maria has completed his transfer from Real Madrid to Manchester United for a British record fee of £59.7m, signing a five-year contract at Old Trafford. ‪#‎WelcomeDiMaria‬

Are you able to read properly? Because yeah, everyone has been saying Cleverley is great for ages...

Chelsea didn't sell Mata because he wasn't good enough, but because he wasn't a Mourinho sort of player. Moyes panic-bought him, though, but he's a very good player. You can't even compare Mata and Cleverley because they don't play the same position.

Everyone has been after improvements to the team as much as you, and now we're finally working on that, it's too late but we managed okay until recently, to be fair.

All your suggestions for signings have mostly been even more awful than the players we've signed, too. :p

LvG has managed many of the best midfielders in the world, there's no way he looks at Cleverley and thinks "yeah, he'll do a job" - no way. Zero.

Oh I can read. It's just an example. Like thinking Carrick can just do a job. Yes he can disguise his lack of ability when ronaldo is bagging 30 a season. Then suddenly he's required to make an assist or two and contribute 1/11 rather than 1/20.

That's why we are in such bad shape, even our experienced vets (Carrick, young, valencia) are actually terrible players compared to the last year's top 4. None saleable for big numbers, no performance, no end product. It's rife through the squad.

Was it just me that laughed at him wearing / holding the two different shirts (even though Aon is in the background anyway)

(dont recall seeing the Herrera/ Rojo/ Shaw pics for the announcements, I guess they were the same)

edit

robbo - didnt you earlier say they wouldnt announce tonight before the game (and yes I recall you also saying "now I bet they will" or words to that effect)

Are you going to be equally wrong about Vidal (after you have been so , probably correctly, doubtful it would happen in the last week or two)?

Thing thing with Vidal is that it looks like the guff before recently was Juve trying to create a market for him. But now all of the rags are reporting practically the same story which is similar to what happened with Rojo and Di Maria so you hope from that, that something is in the pipeline.

Hope :(.

A good signing for sure, but perhaps United should release a book entitled;

'How to get absolutely bent over' by Manchester United.

£60 million is crazy money. I mean I knew they'd have to pay over the odds to get players in but damn, lube up.

Finally some intelligent pace added to the attack. Good signing, if not a little on the steep side.

Also I wish our home strip resembled the scheme of the polo one he actually is wearing, just not a fan of current. Looks tacky.
