Borini could be off to QPR. We've reportedly accepted a £10m+ add ons bid from them.

Valdes in the next few weeks looks a goer too. Supposedly we're waiting until he's nearly recovered so we can evaluate his fitness properly but I could be done sometime in October.

Edit: sounds like its £10m + £2m. Sunderland's offer, if it still stands, is £12m + £2m.

Well, BBC are saying that QPRs offer of £13m for Borini has been accepted.

So there we go..£12m for Long, £13m for Borini. £16m for Balotelli is looking stupidly cheap

When you've got squads of £300m you should be challenging for the title, certainly. Chelsea trying to claim they weren't in the race when they had the 2nd strongest and costliest squad in the league was ludicrous.

Utds squad is now the most expensive squad in the league and they should be competing. They probably won't though as on the whole they've spent pretty badly.
 
Stop being a tart. Everything's been pretty tame so far and certainly no worse than what's been said about other clubs in the past.

Seriously Arsene. The Arsenal fans pay the highest amount in the country to watch their team play football and settle for fourth place year-in/year-out and now that our only goal-scoring striker is injured and there is no one who can adequately take his place, Wenger decided to **** off to Rome for a charity football match. I hear Ronaldinho is playing so unless he brings him back to the Emirates with him, I'll be well cheesed off. I'd take Zigic right now, at least it would mean he tried something! Even if it is something completely useless at least it is something to try and keep the fans happy.

If no striker is signed then our season is over before Giroud returns from injury. Sanchez/Walcott/Poldi/Sanogo are not capable of doing Giroud's job and it has shown in the performances so far this season. Poldi is probably the only one who comes close at the moment. As good as Sanchez/Walcott are they cannot play the lone striker role and would need someone to run off.

He joined Crewe at five years old and them moved to Man Utd when he was 18.
