What is the price of the transfer?

I have no idea.

Whatever price it potentially is, is too much.

If we truly do sign him its a transfer that reeks of small club mentality. The guy has completely and utterly failed at United, he is only remotely close to the England team because there is nobody else. I wouldn't even want him as back up. Absolutely shockingly **** signing I pray it doesnt happen.

Not fussed about Borini staying, if he does. Him as 4th choice is better than nothing.
Where's he gonna play? Sturridge/Mario/Lambert for the central role so that leaves him up against Sturridge/Markovic/Sterling/Mario/Coutinho all of whom are far better out wide.

Probably a decent signing when we first bought him but we've come a long way in two years and he's a mile below the standard of player we require now, just like Allen :p

Cant believe were so close to signing Cleverly :(

He's really going to stop us shipping goals in this season.............

Yea. Him and Lambert will be good for FA Cup/League Cup.

Yep. No doubt Sturridge will miss a few games with injury and it provides us with another option even if he's just on the bench.

We have enough attacking options in midfield to cope without him and with the money being so good I could understand letting him go but it's certainly not a bad thing if he stays.

Give Allen a break. He's a very good, if not spectacular player.

And I agree about Borini but with the extra games we're going to have, I'd rather have too many players than not enough. And in games like Boro in the League Cup, I'd rather he was involved (even on the bench) than risk Sturridge or Sterling.
