It's this kind of appointment I'm most fearful of. It would show a complete lack of ambition, though I'm sure its a rumour that has just been made up in the press..

Shall we not talk about any football at all since we're all as clueless as each other then? Hazard will be there next season, why would Chelsea sell him? You don't have to be an expert to understand contracts.

Why would Chelsea sell Mata? Strange things happen in football clubs when players fancy a move.

You have to be extremely naive to assume that a contract will keep you at a club.

Yeah but Mourinho wants Hazard at the club, why wouldn't he? he's like 23, direct, quick, skillful and strong. Mata didn't fit in with where Mourinho wants to go obviously..

I was more behind Moyes it seemed than any of you lads on here..that's pretty cringe mate..

And yea United have egg all over their face, they buckled. Giggs and Moyes should have been just done it together for the next few years. The united squad isnt good enough..although not being in Europe will be a nice change of pace for you United supporters.

I wouldnt be at all surprised if Hazard is offloaded this summer...especially after the swipe Mourinho had at him a few weeks about his work ethic which was in part due to what Hazard said in the media ie Chelsea arent set up to play football after they lost to Atletico.

It's whether Hazard wants to be at the club. Following the comments from both of them recently I wouldn't be surprised if he left.

I'll tell you what's cringe, other supporters thinking they know what's best for Man Utd when in reality, having watched them week in week out, United fans were the best to know what was going on and can see the failings. You obviously knew better though :)
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Hazard left Chelsea. We've seen plenty of deals done over the years for high profile players that want a move. Ultimately contracts don't really matter at all apart from dictating the transfer fee.
