ive done it for years on a corina. 220,000 brother still driving it

Surely you must appreciate that a 2007 Avensis D4D T180 is completely different to an old Ford Cortina? Modern diesel engines are both highly complicated and very sensitive peices of preceision engineering. They are not the hardy diesel engines of old.

You have ultra high pressure injection systems which can be wrecked by using the wrong fuel.

Why do you insist on doing stupid things to this car?

It really doesn't matter.. what fox is saying still applies. Please listen to him!

It's a Toyota Carina.

Unless of course your brother has a Toyota Corina, in which case I apologise.
But he won't, because it doesn't exist.

I dont think he is a troll, but i do think he will muck this car up sticking petrol in it.

He aint a troll because i think he does believe what he is saying.

Of course i might be wrong.

You mean a Carina E, whatever, point stands. The Carina E didnt have a D4-D engine in it!

I said this ages ago :o

My apologies, I only skim read through all the rubbish.

i doubt he is seriously, when you say something is wrong, he tries to defend it. Then jumps to another solution, when confronted again, he says he's been doing it for years. More confrontation and he jumps to something else.

That is not normal and troll like. If he believed in something he would defend or listen. Not jump about like a kangaroo on a pogo stick.

ok , why is it wrong to put diesel cleaner in a motor.
it will help with mpg
motor will run hotter with less revs
so will help with egr... sooting up
