Turkish Grand Prix 2011, Istanbul Park - Race 4/19

So when button beats Hamilton with a good strategy it is all because Button has amazing strategic sense. Of course when Hamilton beats Button it is all Mclarens fault....

Hamilton is just better.

Clearly not because Button had him pegged on the same strategy and out drove him wheel to wheel which almost never happens.

I've already said it could have been buttons call.

On the same strategy Button would have beaten him today.

Of course he would have, Hamilton lost about 20 seconds with a dodgy stop.

It was a good race, but I'm still rather disappointed. I really thought that the three week gap would give a realistic chance for others to catch RBR, but they've maintained their gap completely.

I'll take this result today.
Ferrari finally picking a good strategy, a rarity for them. The pace was there. Shame that Massa was wasting the 2nd race seat.
Despite the move having a negative result for me, I really loved the Webber move on Alonso. Great watch. :)

Thought the DRS came into play just a bit too much, it was too early.
Schumacher. Time to go home.

Yep, that's the most disappointing thing for me. As predicted, Vettel got out in front on the first lap and no one could catch him. Time trailing the whole race. It's funny that hardly any of the TV coverage was focused on him at all today.

Hamilton ruined his race after turn 1 by going wide and losing position. The awful pitstop didn't help either but I suppose he should be happy that he maintained his qualifying position.

Button ruined his chances by trying a three-stop strategy.

Alonso had a great race and Webber did well to protect his position and pull back his place from Alonso towards the end.

It was a very exciting race from P2 back but to be honest, who cares about that when the leader is so far ahead at the front and completely uncontested.
It's all a bit bitter-sweet to be honest.

Not bad....

Webber needs to start being good from the start! Then he would bag a load of wins. It is like he needs to warm up for first 15 laps or so before he actually starts smashing it around track, which then it is to late to get past SV.

Also EJ actually said something what i agree with! MS is past his time!
