looks like a 3k DC2, not perfect but not a dog either :D

how long ago was the rebush?

I'd want him to drive form cold and use vtec all the way to the limited and then let it back off to check the ring and the valve seals.

Yeah, the rust in the boot on the passenger side concerns me.

I know my ATR, I know it's a good car, so perhaps keeping it is the best option.

well as you know it's a leaking cluster, just get it all out inc back seats to have a good look to see what the damage will be. He'd have to do it anyway if another seller comes along. Well unless they're a noob.

rjkoneill - get a DC Sports system. You will get fed up of a Spoon N1 early mornings and on the overrun.

Trust me, I had one with a B Pipe, at first it was great but the novelty wears off.

Firstly, LOL at the size of your pics.

I have seen a lot of your posts suggesting the DC sports, is that because they offer the best VFM?

I see funkypower have the DC for £450
surely that is within £50 or so of a BuddyClub Pro-Spec? is the latter worth considering over the DC Cat back system?

I wouldn't touch BC exhausts with a barge pole.

I recommend DC Sports because they make good power, they are well made, they sound nice and they are reasonably priced.

Sorry about the size of the pics, they are off a friends photobucket and I'm not sure how to thumbnail them. Will PM him and ask him to do it.

If you're buying new and looking at £450~ you could surely get a secondhand Twin loop? Although it's a genuine question, they're about that for DC2/EK9.

They sound sexual in VTEC.

Its waiting for something like that to crop up that is the problem. if there is a 2nd hand one about and I have the money, it may be a no brainer but I may just buy new and get the DC now. Going to try and see if I can get to see/hear one before I stump up the cash.
youtube videos arent the best way of showcasing an exhaust system :(

Sold my DC2 this morning after 5.5 years and 22k happy miles.

Guy flew over from Germany, apparently he's driving it back and selling it for 3000 euros more than he just paid for it!

So yeah, end of an era really. Can't see myself in another Honda anytime soon, although I may try an s2000 next summer or the one after that.

I wouldn't touch Buddy Club for anything! Their guy was banned off itr-dc2 a while back and their kit did have some design flaws. PLenty of other good kit out there.

Niel-ste: Sad news indeed, hope you got a good price for it!

Reposting outside of the spam so it's not buried!

Calling fellow Honda people!

I am looking to get some black chromed Honda emblems for the front and back of my S2000. Need to remove the front one for respray work and it's a 1-way affair (Stupid 1 way retention clips need cutting off supposedly :()

I can get them from the US but the shipping is a ridiculous $65. Ideally I want to source in the UK instead of shipping to US friends and shipping onwards again or stomaching $65 for delivery ontop of $65 for the badges themselves.

As badass as black chrome is I cannot justify £80 on it all in.

I am open to DIY offerings also, I have read some stuff about pre tinted clearcoats and self mix clear + black but I do not have access to decent spraying equipment.

Any ideas?

I aren't hardcore enough, 3k for a car with rust goes over my head, do love DC2's though and the old skool vtec kick!

My EP3 came with a Magnex catback fitted, unsilenced B pipe. It's pretty loud without being raspy and it's only noisy when you're under load, I will have to do a video :) I actually think it sounds good, I was gonna change it to a more reputable JDM y0 brand but.... dont think there is much point until it falls off :)

Parked up next to a bypass earlier and a E46 M3, Milano red EP3 and some sort of Ducati motorbike was racing up it. All sounded and looked awesome.

Really think I am just gunna have to go out and buy a Type R soon as it is doing my head in now...

Is his name Daniel? If so I randomly met him on the M6 when I got stuck in an accident. :p He was trying to catch a ferry back to Germany with a white uk dc2.

Pics should be resized now.

RJK where are you planning on getting your car serviced? And do you have the FRSU already?

My car has full Honda service history.although I am tempted to keep it up next year, I will probably be taking it to specialists.

TDI North seem to be the 'go to' place from what I have seen.
Would that be a fair assumption?

I plan on getting my tracking sorted soon. My last tyres were showing inconsistent wear when I had them taken off.

What would you suggest for a frsu? I was literally going to go for the following:

Break pads changed to ds2500
Alignment

Do I need to consider other stuff too?
