Type R and VTEC owners

F1 cars are revved to death no? Same with motorbikes? You just need to rev a honda higher to get the best out of it. What's wrong with that? Yeah it's not everyones cup of tea. Though it's far more rewarding then driving a lazy derv.

Something which I actually miss whilst driving.

It won't be as nice as the concept. Looks like the blue concept is the same model as the red one as it still has no interior. Shame, but I doubt those lights, spoiler and front flares will look like that in the final version.

High revving motors are proper race bred shiz, dont mock, turbos are crude and for the lazy engineers and the lazy driver, high revving Honda engines all have the midas touch of a genius-cum-banzai engineer behind it, thats what made them so special and unique.

Why couldn't they have at least done a supercharged 8k rpm engine at least.:(

Honda have lost all their individuality with this! I can see proper VTEC engine cars gaining quite a premium in the years to come.

I cannot see this being a better package than the NSX-R anyway. Its fail wheel drive and still has torsion bar rear.

The guy at Honda is probably the same pot smoking sushi eating liar that suggested the CRZ Handling would be like an Elise.

Hi,

Is anyone able to tell me if my Honda has a cambelt or chain? I have a Honda Civic 2.0 petrol V-TECH 54 plate Type S. Thanks in advance.

The evo isn't a honda though.

The point being made by Honda is that this type r will be the best of the best of type Rs.

I'm looking forward to it.

Also looking forward to it (hope its not too diluted from the concept) but even if its faster, the NSX-R will be a better all round car I imagine, RWD fun and all that.

Not that I will ever drive either :(
