Ubisoft FarCry 5 'are you ready' thread just shown up....

Anyone had a go with the arcade section? just had a little go and must say most of the creations at the moment are a bit naff, although i can see the potential

I quite like it,sure there a dumb maps where you can spawn kill all opposite players all the time, but there are also some good ones, and money you earn there going into SP

Just finished the John Seed section and oh boy the plane really handles poorly almost as bad as the ones in Ghost Recon: Wildlands. I did not think I was going to get past this bit until I crashed into John Seed's plane and that was that, as we then parachuted out and job done.

I think the story if there is one is pretty pointless. But overall it is OK.

Completed this earlier this morning. I rather enjoyed it if I'm honest. Still got a few collectables to get but I've done all of the side missions, prepper stashes etc. uPlay said I've logged about 22hrs.

My hype has died off a bit for this now it’s beautiful etc but there’s only so many outposts I can liberate lol anyway only on the John Seed section and nearly done I’m a bit bored of this section now so hopefully the other two are better

How the hell do I get my bloody d pad working on my ps4 pad via the steam link I've tried every option , it's showing up on far cry as an Xbox controller which is fine as everything works but the d pad :( any help would be greatly appreciated

Returning back home today and looking forward to finish of faiths region (hurrrr). I've been reading reddit whilst away and it seems a lot of folks have the same main complaint I do - that the resistance meter fills far too quickly

Even worse - it seems if a boss is killed then all your story quests are void and vanish! In essence you can't even play the game the way you want to play it. It is bad enough that you have to do annoying 'challenges' just for perk points but having missions vanish is just poor design overall.

The side missions remain but the main quests are all themed at fighting against the ruler of that area, if the boss is dead I guess Ubi took the view that those missions would be pointless.

I've only cleared one area but I also completed every story first and a few side missions, one thing I have done though is grab heli and just fly around looking for prepper stash missions as essentially they are free perk points and loaded with cash, I've done loads so far and am kitted out pretty well.

They seriously need to address that resistance bar. Either make it larger or remove resistance points rewards from roadside rescues and side quests. I had just finished doing the exact same regarding the prepper stashes - they're quite enjoyable to do and there's no shortage of npcs sharing locations around the map. Got about 100k of cash and I'm well armed at this point.
