He's in the side to cover for Johnson's defensive frailties. A midfielder to cover for a defender who's worst aspect of his game is defending is never a good recipe

Most noticeable thing is how inaccurate a lot of england's longer distance passes are. If they could keep possession they wouldn't let ukraine keep taking advantage.
