A real matter of opinion that BaZ. All well and good putting in the big tackles and looking good for the camera's a lot of the tackles he put in against the Sweedes was because he was took up poor positions in the first place.


We can all get a bit partizan where our own players are concerned with the national set up. Glenn Johnson is not a good defender

Took up poor positions? His best work against Sweden and against France was when he was covering the 2 CB's.

Probably because he's not done his job let alone half of Gerrard's

It absolutely is, we're not doing a good job holding them, we're doing an appalling job at everything and getting lucky with scrappy defending at the last hurdle.

Milner isn't playing well but Johnson needs his cover. Walcott and Johnson would not be a good mix from the start.

What a dire first half performance by England, they can't hold the ball at all. I don't think they will last another half like that trying to hang on for dear life, they need to make a change or two.

The worst thing about this Milner needs to cover Johnson stuff is that Milner hasn't covered Johnson half the time. Just before HT Milner's just jogging back and it was Gerrard that was having to fill in for him.

As I say all a matter of opinion. I really think a more balanced team would be Micah Richards RB -> Theo Walcott RM.
