Under redknapp we would have had a load of hype and a massive dissapoimtment when an overly attack focused team got ruined on the counter attack every time.

International football is about sensible tactical football now. But then again Argentina v Brazil was 4-3 and a proper old school thriller
 
concerns about gerrard and parker fitness wise :(.

i'm more worried about it being mentioned that the england team had concerns about there ability to play the number of games in the space of time needed.

not sure we can afford to take the risk of putting milner/henderson in the midfield against sweden.
 
The England football team have visited an orphanage in Poland this morning .

Can't make my mind up on this-
-If we Play well today and wellbeck grabs 2 goals or puts in an amazing performance.
Should Wayne Rooney start against the ukraine?
 
Rooneys hunger is going to be ofF the radar for Ukraine. He'll bag if he isn't forced to come deep.

Bad, very bad. England for me will be at their best like:

Welbeck
Young - Rooney - Milner (to cover for Johnson being a liability)
Parker - Gerrard

Carroll is a donkey, he's so far from what we should be looking for in a striker it's crazy.
 
A draw would be a disaster tonight. Ukraine have definite potential to beat us.

Hope we don't get tired in the 2nd half again

i'm hoping we make changes before it starts to affect us like it did against the french.

parker seemed to be struggling for a while before he was taken off, he seemed to be trying his best, but after his recent injury concerns i think we took to much of a chance on him.

fingers crossed that we show a bit more attack minded focus tonight, without leaving ourselves wide open.

yup, seen mention of carroll/wellbeck and don't think that will work.

I think we'll see a draw with Ukraine and France but I hope Ukraine beat England and send them back. Actually if I were in charge I would send England and the BBC packing for their biased views of Ukraine.
 
Nerves will definitely creep in for me later. No matter how little expectation there is I always expect a performance from England.
