Well good on the team finally doing something in a major tournament but Italy were the better team through this competition and last night. Germany was a very solid result and I'll give them that but relatively easy games apart from that, I don't think England would have been in the final had they ended up on Italy's knockout path.
If we are playing the penalty blame game, then Rashford is the one who missed the goal entirely, he got way too clever with his run up and and ran too far into the shot. Always amazes me how elite professional footballers can do that from 11 metres, fair enough having it saved but you can't let the pressure get to you that much at this level that you miss the goal.

had as good an euros as england did
with that squad it is bad. If we'd had the burnley and newcastle 11s for our team then it would have been an achievement. To have a squad of CL/EL winners and runners up, and then play like a park-the-bus West Brom side is not an achievement. Had we been in the other half of the draw we'd not have made the quarters.

What I'm saying is you are far from the second best in Europe as being suggested.
