from our propaganda sure.
we are as bad as the Russians for believing "we are all that"

all we ever fought was people with crappy weapons for about 50 years, it's like spawn killing noobs in BF or whatever and thinking you are a god.

Ever notice american jets stopped flying over Syria as soon as Russia moved it's AA there and forced a no fly zone
Not really propaganda is is that the Russians have been exposed to be vulnerable.

They’ll have done it did to lessen tensions between the 2 wasn’t worth a accidental escalation as Syria wasn’t worth it
They dont have air superiority over Ukraine yet so if push came to shove we’d fair a lot better.

Well worth half an hour of your time IMO,

Thank you. Took the time to watch it as I tend to like his take on things - somewhat to the point even if it means upsetting other people in the room.

I would agree with most of what he says. We have certainly been caught with out pants down and he airs what many of us have known for a while - we've gone soft. Hopefully this will be just the wake up call the west needs.

Most those people going over to fight from other countries are probably the people who like violence or miss the thrill if they ever fought in a real war.
Wayne couzens probably would have been straight over there.

What a disgusting thing to say. You really are tapped.

It's beyond belief the things that have been dragged into this thread...

Look if Putin launches 160 nukes at the UK the UK is gone, if we launch 160 at Russia is Russia completely destroyed?

Again, you COMPLETELY miss the point as to why its a deterrent. In a nuke war, nobody wins. Which is why nobody wants to be first to launch, and why nuclear powers wont engage each other in combat. A single, low yeild ground level detonation (smuggled on a lorry for example) detonated outside of Moscow could turn it into an uninhabitable radioactive wasteland for centuries.

Haha yeah, ship all the scousers over, they will make short work of that convoy :D

By jacking them up onto bricks and stealing the alloys :cry: ?

You do realise those 160 nukes we have could destroy Russia along with the rest of the world.
whether its 10 or 1000 just firing 2-3 of them is enough to cause huge harm to the planet and firing 10+ is pretty much dooms day level stuff.

Why Russia, USA feel the need to have 5000+ is because they had an arms race after WW2, just stupidity really. :(

The US detonated over 1,000 during their testing projects- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_...apons tests of,, underwater, and space tests.

Just to add some light hearted ness to the situation, Russia is now defeated as a Liverpoolian soldier is going to fight Russia, by the end of next week there will be no Russian tanks and vehicles left with NO wheels. :D

So so brave that people from UK and other countries are going to fight in the name of protecting innocent people and standing up for freedom of speech. :)

Yes I'm really proud of all the people from all nations going to Ukraine to help or the countries taking in refugees. So much respect for them all.:D

Russians now fleeing Russia.

'Fear of martial law sparks Russian exodus.'

Thousands of Russians are rushing to flee the country ahead of this weekend, as rumors swirl that Vladimir Putin could soon declare martial law, close the borders and crack down even harder on domestic dissent.

Why it matters: For as devastating as the humanitarian situation in Ukraine has become, widespread suffering is rapidly arriving at Russia's own doorstep.

More than 8,000 people have already been detained at anti-war protests since Feb. 24, according to the independent monitor OVD-Info.

Russia's Duma has passed a law making the spread of "fake news" about the Russian military punishable by up to 15 years in prison. The last pillars of Russia's already-limited independent press were forced to close under pressure from the Kremlin this week.

Russia's state communications watchdog blocked the websites of the BBC, Voice of America, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Deutsche Welle and other foreign media outlets for spreading "fake" information.

Good luck getting out with the airlines all blocked...

True, the latter tests were mostly underground in Nevada, but the largest were detonated in the air or sea

And this caused an increase in cancer and cancer-related numbers in places like Las Vegas when the wind took the fallout and radiation over there. One of these going off in a densely populated area is nuts.

Access to the BBC's Russian language services has been restricted in Russia.

Other news outlets, including Deutsche Welle, Meduza and Radio Liberty, have also had access to their services limited, Russia's state-owned news agency RIA says.

Russia's parliament has passed a law making it an offence to spread "fake" information about the armed forces.

The Kremlin objects to the conflict being called a war, instead calling it a "special military operation".

A BBC spokesperson said: "Access to accurate, independent information is a fundamental human right which should not be denied to the people of Russia, millions of whom rely on BBC News every week.

"We will continue our efforts to make BBC News available in Russia, and across the rest of the world."

Record numbers of people have read the BBC's Russian language news website since the invasion, seeking up-to-date information on the conflict.

BBC is one of the few western news sites available in Russian rather than English. They were talking to one of the Russian BBC team members yesterday and he was very concerned about what he can say now.

I’m not necessarily disagreeing with what your saying but ultimately they are an impotent means of defense. If no one is going to use them through fear of MAD then they are little to no use to anyone.

It’s like that bloke down the pub who threatens to hit someone yet waits for his misses to hold him back.

Taking that away is a silly move. without the voice of reason and a window to the outside **** can go even more south.
