Would be quite amusing if they blow up his Crimea bridge just before the 9th...
It would be a very Russia kind of play but blowing up that bridge right as celebrations on the 9th kick off oof, would be extremely humiliating for Putin.

Sadly Ukraine don't currently have the capability to destroy the bridge, it would require either heavily armed ships or medium/heavy bombers, neither of which they have anymore.Would be quite amusing if they blow up his Crimea bridge just before the 9th...
And now Bulgaria having its gas turned off tomorrow. Russia shooting itself in the foot. Lovely.

This isn't some 30 meter long stone bridge over a stream it's four lanes wide and half the length of the English channel, destroying it would require an immense effort, it's unlikely a cruise missile strike would do the job unless you wanted to dedicate a LOT of missiles to a target of no strategic value, and Ukraine don't exactly have a surplus of cruise missiles right now.
Only a matter of time until this war starts to spill over with stuff like this.
Update:
Yeah. Have noticed the little red dots on the live map slowly popping up further and further into Russia, and at an increasing pace. Can't say they didn't ask for it though.

Soo... Is Putin going to get on the soapbox and complain that Ukraine is attacking Russian targets while Russian armed forces devastate Ukraine.

Most days i'm seeing updates of "Russia is making small advances but..." Assuming this is a war of attrition(I.e not over by 2022) and Russia's main gameplan is just to throw bodies and resources at it until it gets what it wants. Doesn't that mean that eventually Ukraine will fall. not because of lack of ammo but because it has run out of soldiers to use them? I'm just thinking that much of the analysis done by commentators in the west is assuming Russia actually cares about the cost in human, equipment and money terms... But.. What if it doesn't?
