Ukraine Invasion - Please do not post videos showing attacks/similar

I have substantial suspicions that the west is ratting out russian activities to ukraine.

I dare say a ww1 artillery unit could also flatten an important location if a third party was sending them accurate coordinates and intel.
You think? there's a world of ISR platforms circling the black sea as well as an array of sensors looking at that region from elsewhere and overhead.

Wonder if the runway at Uzhhorod was designed that way on purpose or just how it happened - makes it a bit risky for Russia to try and attack it without risking hitting Polish targets.

Interesting thread here, long read but covers a lot of ground well, touches on the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia in context of the current situation which has some interesting points and the later half of the posts touching on full or partial mobilisation is well balanced and well argued.

Interesting reading just how procedural Russia is, in all sectors including defence, politics, etc. Also interesting in his final comments about focusing on ethnics and ignoring non-ethnic regionals. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out long term for Russia. I'd be surprised to see the country dissolve though.

On that note I've spent too much time watching this - looking at the disposition and lack of certain assets showing on ADS-B this morning I was like - bet those Guardrails are out... and sure enough they were.

I should have stated theory and rumour as hard fact like a true armchair intelligence operative
Haha but yep, you don't have to be one of those to see the sheer number of sneaky beaky assets focused in that area of the world and conclude that the west is definitely feeding Ukraine with critical intelligence reporting.

There is another option. Maybe Putin will declare the "Special Military Operation" as complete, with all objectives achieved, and then pull out of Ukraine. It doesn't matter whether it's true or not.

Despite the West and neighbouring countries support. This war will go on for years. I don't see any other outcome sadly.

Maybe there will be a coup in Russia. It will make no difference imo.

Combat losses are rendering entire BTG`s no longer capable - at least 25,000 troops and 3000 combat vehicles. Thats 35% of the entire russian invasion force and 25% of the entire russian army. in 2 months.

I get that but the mobilisation of the population won't go away anytime soon right.

Russia arnt being invaded, which makes a problem for Putin to mobilise the country with forced conscription; that and he is royally ******* off Israel with the narrative right now.

Israel won't do anything. I know a few that came here (personally) to marry to essentially avoid their national service.

Essentially this war will go on for years. Unless I have missed something. Just expressing my thoughts etc.

I hope it ends today right. But I just can't see this outcome.

What do you mean by "mobilisation of the population"? Russia hasn't gone full mobilisation, it hasn't declared war. If you mean the propaganda campaign, well, the state controls the Media, so all those talking heads barking about denazification will turn on a sixpence to starting talking about the success of the operation if the withdraw is called. Continued war is a bigger problem for controlling the narrative than withdrawal, you can spin any story you like but dead bodies get noticed.

My point is [Israel] will not get involved with this war.

I don't think anyone is talking about Israel sending tanks to Ukraine, but as yet Israel has not joined sanctions. **** them off enough and they may choose to do so.

West have blown through the ready stock launches of kit - Stinger wont restart production until next year (one reason why the new UK Martlett is being sent over from IOC stocks); however - production is restarting and Russia are still losing troops and equipment daily.By August, they will have lost 50% of the entire equipment, and if the OSINT is accurate, T64`s are being prepped as are T55`s to make up for losses - T90M (the very latest kit) are now being lost in Ukraine.

If i was Russia i would be cranking out active defence systems and testing them in the field, right now.

Replace Putin with what, if that's your point?

I believe that they will go fully into a nationwide mobilisation, and as such the war will go on for years.

That's my opinion.

I respect yours as well.
