Don't forget Kiev is divided between the pro-EU government, these far right blokes and pro-Russia people. As the Ukrainian economy edges closer towards the toilet tensions between these groups are only going to heighten and we might see fighting like the massive protests before the war happening again in Kiev.
Personally I think we are seeing the death of a country, the best they can hope for is giving away a load of territory to Russia. Military hardware from allies is no good when your soldiers are conscripts who don't want to fight anyway.

Theres a video on youtube of the guy who designed the f16 basically saying the F35 IS crap. Says they basically tried to build something that could do everything and on the cheap so it ended up being bad at everything and inferior to previous gen aircraft in most areas

all massive defense projects these days are late and over budget and take at least another 10-20 years to mature
the f15, f16 and f18 all took years to get to the point now where they are awesome - the f35 will be in another 20 years still getting upgrades that way exceed its IOC
all the f35 chat is just the same old guff - yeah its a turkey now, yeah its multiples in cost of the current generation planes and lots of people will moan about it for along time yet

Of course. They've already said they'll do things like this if the US does go ahead and give the Ukraine lethal weapons. They've also threatened to give the Chinese some advanced stuff as well.
I'd take issue with that. Theres nothing wrong with multirole fighters as a concept (f15, f18 and f16 itself would be testament to that) and they certainly didn't do it on the cheap (the 3 variants instead of cramming it into one which costs more, the insane sensor technology embedded (something the f16 was noted for at its time), 5th gen materials, entirely new type of engine for one of the variants, new weapon systems etc)
It's only the B that's having the problems, not the other two variants. And the A and the C do compare to the previous generation in traditional areas and then far exceed them in modern areas (avionics, sensors, defensive aid suites etc) which is the main part of the battle in the next 30 odd years.
Honestly the B is the beaten stepchild of the family. And unfortunately I think entirely due to lobbying by RR its the one we are buying, But it's also the variant which is going to be the rarest by quite a margin

It must be eliminated before it is too late, Hitler wasn't and millions of innocent people paid with their lives. No, they plan for war. Preparing for war is different and more serious. Preparing is the first thing you do when you're putting your plans in action.

America/SK have been preparing/practising to invade NK for decades, they haven't done it yet.
They haven't been doing either, beyond what aid they give to S.Korea. SK could roll over NK in a couple of days but theres every likelihood theyd have to kill hoards of men, women and children, not to mention deal with the nukes and probably the chinese at some point. Invasion is nowhere near as attractive as maintaining the status quo.
I cant believe they're retiring the superb A10 for this turkey, which wont be able to do anything like the CAS role. But yes, as you say, military contracts.
