The assassinations are interesting, so many factions could want them dead its tough to say who has done it.

There are reports of new fighting springing up btw. I expect spring will bring even more. the DNR isnt sustainable as it is and it'll go either way to solve itself.
 
Its funny, but average Ukranians life quality has gone down by about x2 factor since Yanukovich, thats given that Ukraine is the most poor country per person out of all post soviet members... Given that Ukraine was essentially left as a world-power industry and military wise after the dissolution.

The new government has been as un-effective as all other previous ones, this one though has made Ukraine poorer than it ever has been, while politicians line their pockets probably more than Yanukovich, with EU money... Using the "Anti-Terrorist Operation" as an excuse for the hardship... Perfect really.
 
Well this is all very confusing. A number of individuals in here were just insistent Russia are not present or interfering with the Ukrainian war...they're now strangely silent on the matter and have been for some time.
 
There's too much propaganda from both sides to have any sort of realistic discussion about it, the facts are that a western lead coup has led to a civil/proxy war and the destruction of what was a stable country. My thoughts go to all of the people suffering at this point.

The Rebels probably just finally lost their patience after weeks/months of the Regime troops violating the Minsk accords. The Regime have been shelling various areas in the DNR/LPR on a daily basis, flagrently violating any and all agreements. The rebels have been quite restrained thus far, even waiting for permission before returning fire.

Still, doubtless the Western media machine will begin the nonsense propaganda again. And, sadly, many people seem to buy it without actually looking into the situation more deeply (i.e. not just relying on BBC, Sky, British/US newspapers etc for their news).
 
Interesting the way the massive spate of political murders in Ukraine haven't really made the Western media either.

The Western media are a shocking farce.

the stream of Ukrainian servicemen still being injured? Towns along the border have been reporting shelling since the ceasefire began and the rebels pushed a major battle right after signing Minsk. There was no lost patience.

Both sides have been shelling. Thankfully the DNR leader just says anyone they kill, its the Ukrainians fault for forcing them to fire by existing. so..... good logic there.

who are the rebels getting Permission from? Minsk doesnt allow returning fire and you say the rebels are asking someone else? Can you quantify restrained as they have simply paused after an (illegal) big push whilst constantly pushing (and denying OCSE viewing) at places like Shyrokyne?

No those are not facts, those are your assumptions because you think everything bad in the world happens because of the petrodollar.

Petro-Dollar is same is same rubbish as believing our government has its citizens under-surveillance. I mean we do not live in communist Russia or Eastern Germany where the horrible Stazi kept the records on every citizen.

So stop it.

Regarding dead journalists, Russians killed all of them... Ukraine is Europe and hence does not do such things.
 
Makes sense I guess, though I hope the "ban" allows for historical use of these symbols. Like Third Reich symbols are still used in former Nazi concentration camps in Poland.
