The Russian troops in Ukraine should just get the f off back to Russia and put a bullet in Putin's head and rid the world of the 20th century dinosaur who thinks it's ok to grab land form other countries like it was the days of Empire.

Putin still thinks the USSR can still be a thing in the 21st century even hence his aggressive land grabs so given the USSR/Russian communism was a 20th century creation that failed and him trying to recreate some resemblance of it he is by default a dinosaur (relic maybe a better word) of the past century.
They will still be maintaining and patrolling their designated front line as will the rebels - it could have been a mistake and they wandered into the wrong area or an intentional operation/reconnaissance.
They were Special Forces & part of a Reconnaissance patrol, perhaps they were performing reconnaissance along the separation line.
Ceasefire? the fighting never ceased.
The build up of arms and supplies has continued from Russia. Massive army groups inside Ukraine & on the Russian/Ukraine boarder. Ukraine is threatened from the South (Crimea) East of course & West from Russian Controlled Transnistria.
OSCE continues to be for the most part denied access by the Russian Army whom with Orders from Russia still pretending to be "Rebel Forces"

The is no evidence presented, it's just entertainment and sensationalism masquerading as facts. I.E it compares images of Buk units in Russia compared to pictures of Buks in Ukraine around the time MH17 went down. This ignores the fact most of those images were found to have been taken much earlier (hence why the season is wrong) and some were even taken in Georgia!.
Back it up then, where is your evidence to back those statements up? You have not commented much about the Bellingcat report, just a few personal statements about images. What about the rest of it? You have possibly not even read it. At this current time the Bellingcat report is the most compelling investigation/report out there period. A significant amount of work has gone into it using multiple sources. Where is the compelling counter investigation/report? That right it doesn't exist now does it.
You side stepped the image of the reporter too which is just a publicity image of the reporter and was not intended to be evidence of anything like you suggested, you have presented No evidence to debunk the report.
You do tend to conveniently ignore the fact that Russia has deliberately and laughably doctored evidence to point the finger at Ukraine. Taken all into account the constant blatant lying and Aggressive behaviour from the Kremlin why defend/enable them? I expect you to Rubbish the official report if it inevitably points the finger at Russia.

Didn't you keep on denying Russian involvement in Ukraine to the point of trying to disprove anything evidence pointing to that fact coming out of the war zone.
Didn't you try to argue all that Military kit is defected Ukrainian soldiers & rebels.
Russian asymmetrical warfare start to finish with a few thugs thrown in scrambling for power after the Russian expansion / annexation. It's not Russia bashing its the obvious truth, Russia has a pretty ugly regime in power right now.

Before I say this I wanna stress I don't believe an Su-25 downed MH-17, however as proven in this thread it was quite doable.
No, Russia's equivalent of Channel 5 did that, Russian state TV was one of those calling it a fake (presumably because it clashed with their Su-25 story).
Nope, what I have done is provide a balanced appraisal of the "facts" submitted by both sides, while also attacking Russia from time to time. If it appears like I am defending Russia that's because that's what being balanced looks like when viewed from an anti-Russia point of view.
I have flat out called Russia's claims of non involvement nonsense and pointed out how it is impossible for a rebel group without Russia help to be re-fuelling/re-supplying long after they have stopped capturing supplies.

As you haven't bothered to read any of the thread ("Donny you're out of your element!") I will fill you in on my position as to the MH17 crash:
My view is that it was shot down accidentally by the original rebels (not any of the troops Russia has sent in) using one of the Buks they had recently captured from Ukrainian air defense forces (something all sides have been pretty quiet about since).
Hardly a pro-Russia pov >.>
