Strawman - "I was replying to YOU alone" - Ohhhhhhhhh and how did you let anyone, including myself, know that you were only talking to "me alone" in isolation when you quoted my post which was a reply to someone else?

Anyway, criticism of a nations policies is now and has always been fine but I think that a poster saying that they are "hoping" for Israelis to get hurt because they disagree with them is not and is anti-Semitic - would you agree that "hoping" for harm is very different than simply showing "criticism of policy"?

If you do then you've agreed with me that the person I responded to was wrong and if you don't, well thats just another person revealing their true colours in this thread, but its OK, it's happened a lot.

No, quite right I mentioned them and thats a good point I'd missed, they actually "hoped" for harm to ALL Israelis including the 74% of Jews there, which makes it worse to me. Does someone hoping for harm on civilians because they don't that countries policies make you feel uneasy? I know it makes me feel very unhappy.
Still didn't reply to my post did you?....go figure!

Still waiting for you to find the Israei/ Palestinian thread and quote me on my ant semitism as well.

But you will find I'm pro Israeli so you won't , and you know it.

Carry on digging.

Yeah let's see how Belarussian parents feel when their kids start coming home in body bags. Lukashenko is surely taking a huge risk here, for not much gain that I can see.

They sure are giving Ukraine a lot of warning that troops are coming from the Belarusian border lol

It may simply be a case of them making as much noise around the border so Ukraine has to divert troops and vehicles away from the front lines.

In fact by not invading they probably cause more problems as they tie up just as many troops but they dont have moral or supply issues

Would they even need to divert much? They got caught with pants down back in Feb with their main forces holding the eastern lines and yet they still held, albeit uncomfortably close to the capital. That was with mostly local defence forces from what I could see backed up with a core from the army proper.
They’re better armed now, with those same forces battle hardened and many thousands now better trained and crucially much better defensive lines. I can’t see them driving through border posts unopposed
I don’t think Belarus or the Russians could come in with a force of tanks like before so would be a bit of a disaster.

Back in Feb Ukraine held 2 of their heavy armour groups back west of Kyiv in a blocking position and still had around 40K soldiers/territorial in the region not including irregular forces - Russia might have made it to Kyiv but their troubles would only just have been starting. I believe most of their heavy stuff is currently deployed to the south and south east however.

The only way a force could come heavy from the north really is if the ground freezes hard and even then it isn't ideal conditions for fighting.
