This doesn't sound great.

Is Germany signalling they prioritise their own forces over supporting Ukraine?
No. They simply were paid for years to depend on Russian gas. You should remember who became a board member of Russian supplier of gas.
Do you think Merkel tried to be better when she put a NS2 on and depend even more?

writing new history again, Putin claims many European countries helped Germany to invade Russia in WW2

Little **** liar as he is. Always gets a folder with history lessons. You can search the internets for the information. The guy still lives in the eighties and did not know that you can subscribe to youtube. If he was a real agent and not an arse sucker maybe should have learnt a thing or two in his FSB school. He was **** in it and did not learn the basics.

It would be a breach of contract which Berlin could then take to court or just refuse to participate further in that contract and future ones; so they could be cut off from further weapons sales, parts, maintenance, training or w/e else

If there is any chance you plan on buying future German supplies in the short or medium term then it could be a bad idea to breach contracts. The next German government might come in and say all is forgiven, back to business but who knows how long that will take
They would just be shooting themselves in the foot.

other nations could send them German stuff and they then say we will not sell you any more then they just lose millions in arms sales as the UK and US can sell them anything they want.

They will need to keep some back for spares not sure how many though.

The plan was that out of the current fleet of 227 Challenger 2’s, 148 would go for upgrade to Challenger 3 standard, while the balance of 79 were to be used as a source of spares for the Challenger 3’s. I’m wondering whether that by donating Challanger 2’s to Ukraine, then that’s going to mean having to cut the Challenger 3 order, as their either won’t be the hulls to convert, or the spares to keep them in service, especially if we donate more than the 14 already pledged.

There might come a point that should the MoD decide that we do need a bigger armoured force, then we may need to order another type of tank to either replace Challenger 2 and abandon Challenger 3 altogether, at which juncture you may as well donate them all to Ukraine, or accept operating more than one type of MBT, and all the logistical complications that adds.

I notice Poland got their first batch of K-2 Black Panthers within 3 months of signing the order. Dunno whether that’s because they’ve come out of existing RoK Army stocks, or that the manufacturer’s in the full swing of production, and they’ve been able to churn them out quickly, but possibly one type to consider for British Army.

Russia lost in Afghan yes.
I wouldn't say the US lost in Vietnam militarily, they lost the will to fight and pay the price of American lives.
This is behind some of the actions and thoughts since that to beat the west you only need to inflict enough casualties on them and they will pull out.
You saw it playing out with the US in Afghan as well.
No they lost, they turned tails and fled, thats lost, anyone who says otherwise is delusional.

To win you need the enemy to be defeated, the Viet cong were anything but defeated, if anything their advances pushed the Americans out, with Saigon being the last straw.

Yea Russia lost in Afghanistan but America lost in both Vietnam and Afganistan, along with us, we have no victory to celebrate their either. The Falklands is what victory looks like.
