The UK ranks at 11 of 180 countries in 2021, Bulgaria is 78. Russia comes in at 136.

I'm sure China with take the "World Police" warnings very seriously. /s

On a more serious note though, without air cover no amount/quality of tanks is going to be able to breach fortified positions.

Possibly but the western tanks have far better vision and targeting, plus the other side have zero air support the same, depends on how good the recon and stone support is I guess.

The escalation will be very serious if a load of Chinese tanks suddenly appear in Ukraine. It will require a full embargo of China.

There's a point where if you are embargoing everyone else, then you become the one who is isolated.

The US owes 28 Trillion dollars to other nations (and increasing daily), they haven't got as much weight to throw around as they like to pretend they do.

China has a lot more to lose than Russia by getting involved that’s the point. What can Russia do if other countries supply Ukraine, embargo them? It will achieve nothing. Anyone supplying Russia on the other hand better be ready to go bankrupt.

Lets be realistic, the PLA could show up in Donbas and the US wouldn't do ****, it would be the end of their own economy.

Rubbish. The US already made moves against the Chinese economy in other areas e.g. semiconductors and is hammering them in this area, even in the early stages of the strategy. That said, they’ll only do it if it advances their own interests, they don’t give two hoots about Ukraine.

You're basically saying we should stop supplying the firefighters with water and just hope the fire decides to go out on it's own xD

You're asking Ukraine to let Russia have parts of Ukraine that in total are bigger than Scotland+Wales.

Interesting Russia seems to be considerably beefing up air defences in Russia and in some places along the Belarus borders with Pantsir and S-400 complexes - not just the stuff in Moscow they are popping up at various other sites around Russia the last few days (EDIT: Some are pre-existing installations the tabloids are suddenly picking up on and reporting as if new - but that isn't the majority case).

It suggests they’re worried Ukraine has some longer range capabilities incoming. One can only hope, especially given how bang average Russian air defence is.
