Sky news:

'We're beginning to see a series of reports that a Ukrainian reconnaissance group has entered the Bryansk region, just over the northern border into Russia as part of what appears to be a surprise attack.

Russia's TASS news agency says law enforcement agencies are reporting a clash with Ukrainian saboteurs, and says there are dead and wounded among the residents of the area.

Russian news outlets report the Ukrainian group of around 50 members captured inhabitants in the village of Sushany, with explosions and gunfire heard.

RIA news agency says hostages are also being held in the village of Lyubechan.

An electricity substation and a gas station have been blown up in Sushany, according to Baza.'

A few days ago some rocket explosions took place outside of GMLRS range. Russians claimed ukraine must be using the new GLSDB rockets even though the U.S. said they won't arrived for several months.

Turns out what ukraine actually used is Vilka-M rockets. These rockets are designed and built locally and can travel a little bit further than GMLRS (110km vs 90km) and have double the size warhead for a bigger boom. Ukraine is also working on a v2 of the Vilka-M rocket to improve range from 110km to 140km

I can't see Russia footing the repair bill if they lose - forced to retreat from Ukraine good luck getting any money out of them, if losing in such a way Russia itself is under threat well that doesn't end well. This isn't some kind of situation where Russia goes "oh fair enough we lost...".

The west has billions in seized assets. They can pay the balance reparations in gas through their precious Nord Stream pipeline which goes through Ukraine. They will have to pay if they ever want to have trade with most of the countries in the world again and not be beholden to China

Reason why the UK fell behind after ww2 was due to the fact our factories etc didn't get bombed to hell and flattened so we didn't need to invest in new factories and technologies, see Germany, South Korea, Japan , they started afresh and invested in new tech and production ways.
As bad as it is with investment they could become a power house, especially when you look at thier history inside the USSR of building all thier top notch stuff to begin with as has been said.
Not to mention the crippling Lend-Lease repayments on top of the U.K’s economy being wrecked after WW2 ended. Food rationing only ended in 1954 in the U.K.

Did they cross the border like this?

Such an hilarious story; a couple dozen AFU soldiers crossing the border, got passed the Russian border guards and defenses they've installed in recent months only to navigate to some dead end village no ones heard of and take a few retirees hostage? And for what? Are they trying to steal their washing machines back?

Sure sounds like a false flag to me. FSB is getting lazy

BlackRock is a private company, it's not the government or even a government proxy. So its potential profits from rebuilding Ukraine have nothing to do with US policy on the war.

I'd love to see Biden hand over billions from confiscated Russian assets.
