Better to get a decent boiler with weather compensation (WC).

They're much better than these silly add on thermostat systems with their inefficient cycling of the boiler (out of condensing mode) and inability to control flow temperature via WC.

You don't need themostats everywhere and WiFi TRVs.

Anyway, is it HIMARS o'clock?

I'm a currently serving aircraft engineer, usually involved in whatever current conflict is ongoing at the time - it feels strange to not be involved in any way, and even though I wouldn't be in-country in any actual danger if we were helping it would feel better than being sat here. I joined up a year before 9/11, so most of the conflicts haven't had much in the way of public support like the First Gulf War or the Falklands did - I'm 99% certain this would be one of those.

How are you typing "worth it" when your sacrifice is essentially nothing at all? To you it's basically an opportunity to virtue signal online

Well it's clearly worth it for Ukraine to defend itself and to support them by being a functioning member of it's ally's economy is all that can really be done considering the lack of military training 99% of people have in this country.

Perhaps it's still a bit indecent but the alternative was to let Ukraine be conquered and it's people methodically brutalised for daring to think they're free whilst we sit pretty because our bills are slightly less troublesome, there is nothing more indecent than apathy in the face of tyranny.
