Xi will just do nothing new, he will talk about peace talks but in the end try to broker a deal leaving Crimea in Russian hands.

Most would think that's a good deal but in realty it means this war was fought for nothing, no changes except the death and destruction.

I wouldn't blame Zelensky for saying no, after all this and having a real chance to beat Russia the least they can expect is to get it all back.

I suspect if a deal was put on the table that returned all Ukrainian territory apart from Crimea and saw the removal of all Russian troops from previously occupied areas along the boarder Zelensky would do the sensible thing and sign, being realistic Crimea is long gone.

No he wont. That would open the door to future aggression from the USSR.
