I mean we all laugh and joke about this Russian and that Russian shouldn't go near top floor windows but by God it is very real
They have a scary amount of death by windows

It's hard to know what's an accident and what isn't. I knew one person who died by falling out of their apartment one night while drunk off their face - and Russians are known for drinking massively, after all about 50% of all deaths are attributed to alcohol related illnesses, so it wouldn't surprise if Russians fall out windows at a high rate because they are drunk so frequently.

It makes walking around in Russia dangerous, you need a cope cage above your head to protect from the shrapnel above

After Putin came put with a statement about Prigozhin, Prigozhin said that Putin had chosen the wrong side and there would be a new president soon.
It should be noted that that's an English interpretation of something he said in another language, it was never established if he meant it as a threat to remove Putin from power or simply as a reference to his intention to run against Putin in 2024.

To put in perspective how off the mark interpretations can sometimes be, back in 2005 the leader of Iran gave an interview on the Israel/Palestine situation where he quoted a dead religious figure as saying that the regime occupying Jerusalem would one day fade from the pages of time. Western media reported it as a threat to "wipe Israel off the map".

Vice President of a bank at 28! Wonder who her "boyfriend" is? Prigozhin? Surovikhin?
Assuming it works the same way there as it does at US banks and UK investment banks then a Vice President is nothing special. It's just a run of the mill manager. I've been a VP at a couple of banks.

True.. place I was at had 350 "C" level world wide.. Could have been skimming and spending the wrong client's cash? Seems very FSB (fenster-suicide-brigade).

While many of the are very suspicious, there is actually quite a bit of truth to this.

Most tall buildings in the west (or modernised non-western countries) don't have fully openable windows do to modern safety standards, but in Russia most of their high rise blocks were built in the Soviet era or in modern times but to Soviet safety standards.

The fact they have an abnormally high number of deaths per head from falling out of Windows is actually to be expected when you combine a population of higher functioning alcoholics with window standards brought to you by the HSA that gave us "You don't need any reactor containment if you don't plan on having any nuclear accidents" :P

It's not necessarily even a manager, it's just an employee grade. Analyst for 2-3 years after uni -> Associate for 3 years - > VP in late 20s. Some banks have "AVP" as a stepping stone, GS in London does a bit of title inflation and uses "Executive Director" for VP positions.
