With 3000 soldiers? I know Russia's military is far weaker than it was thought to be, but 3000 soldiers? Do these people think the US has opened up the secret stash of alien weapons under Area 51? Is the attack going to be made with copies of the Millenium Falcon, backed up by the Starship Enterprise?
Be an inside CIA job, the deepstate is everywhere..‍♂️

The amount of absolute morons on Twitter claiming the US is deploying troops to Ukraine is astonishing

The US is sending 3000 reservists to Europe to assist with logistics in Operation Atlantic Resolve

This training exercise is however nothing new and has been running every year for nearly 10 years now. But now the idiots are trying to claim the operation is not a training exercise but actually a deployment to invade Russia and start ww3

Yep and you have a presidential candidate pushing that nonsense.

If true it was be right on point for Putin

Russia running out of missiles and artillery any day now for the past 500 days, must be some stockpile of washing machines around Moscow.
Have you not been following the news? That happened ages ago. Russian ran out of its its pre-war stockpile of missiles with the fire rate falling massively, reducing fire rate down to the same rate as manufacture rate. Same for Artillery the pre war stock pile is gone and the fire rate has dropped 75% down to the manufacture rate.

Russian ran out of missiles and artillery that's why there are now longer gaps between volleys, massively smaller volleys and a aprox 75% fire rate reduction.

The enterprise always falls apart after any battle though. Sure it's not Russian ?

On the other hand Russia's artillery and ammo stockpiles in general held up months longer than most people were predicting, insisting even, only dropping down by around 75% towards the end of last year and it isn't entirely clear how much of that is due to depletion, change in the tempo/nature of the war and/or other considerations. In that respect though where fragments of things like missiles, etc. have been possible to date an increasing amount has recent - 22/23 production dates. They've also managed to increase production more than generally thought - given the percentage which seem to be recent manufactured missiles they must have at least doubled missile production rates above expectations to sustain the level of attacks they have this year.

Something which is probably slowing down artillery fire is that the stockpiles are so old they are increasingly having to spend time on logistics sorting and reconditioning older ammo and also things like barrel wear is becoming an issue either due to destruction or needing maintenance or having to use more sparingly to avoid losing the capability.

One soldier per 1000~ metres… 3000 good Brits could probably pull that off, not sure about our American cousins. I don’t think 3000 troops would cover the US catering requirements for a ground war.

Don’t forget the old Russian staple, corruption. I remember reading last year about issues the Russian army were having with replacement artillery gun barrels manufactured by a company owned by one of Putin’s oligarchs. Apparently they were made out of a lower grade of steel than specified in the contract with the Russian MoD, so were wearing out after far fewer rounds fired, and worse, were also warping, leading to an obvious loss of accuracy (rounds fired over more than just a few KM’s were landing 100’s of metres from their intended targets) and worse, gun’s were also exploding as a result, often taking their crew with them.

Gazprom private army.... and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
To be honest, you have to kind of respect the pure levels of balls displayed by Russia here, it's amazing.

The whole point of Wagner in the first place was to field a private military army that couldn't be connected back to the government, so it could be sent to fight in wars and fight for dictators where it would be politically problematic for Russia to be seen sending military aid.

Now they have replaced Wagner with a new private army, belonging to the state owned energy company, it's basically like us sending the (fictional) private army of Network Rail to annex Iceland but being like "nothing to do with us mate".

It's not that they've dropped the façade, it's that they've replaced it with a transparent façade and they're still acting like nobody can see through it even though they know everyone can.
