The damage is already done. It shows Russia how weak western resolve is and that Russia's 'wait them out' tactic will likely work.
Poland surely knows this. Is that a sign that they don't believe Ukraine can make any progress with their offense? US support is basically just phoned in at this point - more ammo but now much else.

The problem is that the West's politicians don't do what is right, they are instead driven by the polls. They are fodder for politicians like Putin, who are the exact opposite. It is depressing to see our politicians constantly fail to achieve anything and the public calling them out for all the wrong reasons.

On the one hand the US does need to keep a weather eye on China, but I'm more and more convinced they have too much of a vested interest in seeing Russia bleed out even if it is at the expense of Ukraine.

Personally don't think we are taking it seriously enough at all in Europe and relying far too much on NATO/nukes... if the US was distracted by China and/or domestic issues, things could take a dark turn yet we just aren't ready for.

That is true but his back is to the wall in many respects, and these countries aren't dealing with the potential extinction level realities he is - which is something Ukraine seems to poorly understand the politics of but still.

Certainly true but Ukraine needs the support of these countries more than she needs to sell them grain.
 
playing silly buggers with poland is not going to help anything,

that should have been a straight forward we'll support whatever you want in terms of grain sales in exchange you very publicly send us some shiny toys. long term a year or 2's reduced revenue from grain sales is small potatoes compared to the cost of a war that is bleeding your country out.

Probably some domestic politics when it comes to grain and concerns for the longer run if their customers turn to other options or sources.
 
Elections in Poland 16.10., and the ruling party is behind in polls.. This is an attempt to get some scumbag voters on their side.. Ukraine and Poland will be best friends again right after the elections..

But they're winning in the polls. This is all about Poland being petty about grain prices.

I dont think this will change TV news dont tell you everything what is happening in Poland and we took lots of Ukraine refugees, give them helping hand and now we have **** comming form Zalensky.
