Time for Sergey Lavrov, Medvedev, Shoigu et el to start fanning their disbelief and sadness!I would post the bad doctor scene from the Death of Stalin... but it has a few swearies in it
They could do that, better yet the Russian general at Avdiivka could take inspiration from the tale of El Cid.Definitely grain of salt stuff.
I'll await confirmation on that one! or perhaps they'll wheel his corpse out like they did that other guy who got killed in Crimea? Don't think we heard from him again.
The express.....

Don't think he cares about casualties, probably doesn't even bother asking.
You'd have to be incredibly unlucky to fall victim of a strike. I mean the risk is most definitely there but still very very low. I'd feel comfortable visiting Odessa/surrounding region. To be fair I think I'd feel comfortable visiting most of the towns near the front line. Not that I would be in the position to do so nor would I likely be welcome. Firstly I'm not into "war tourism", last thing UKR forces need is random foreigners traipsing about those areas. Secondly pretty sure work wouldnt be too happy...One of my acquaintances just did a trip to Odesa, even if for charity reasons, not really sensible in my opinion with everything going on. A bit too foolhardy.

Though when things settle down Ukraine is very high on my list of places to visit, not sure that will be likely in the foreseeable future. Its frustrating with increasing polarisation, unrest and conflicts breaking out over the world theres a rapidly increasing number of beautiful parts of the world that are becoming no go areas.
Tempted to join the Ukrainian armed forces now.
