Victor Orban says being an EU member is like living under conmunist occupation all over again




unfortunately Hungary try as it may just cannot leave the EU or NATO, it's defender Victor tries so hard but these damn Westerners won't let us leave! Victor needs to keep calm though, any further negativity about the EU and London's tanks will be rolling through Budapest

Presumably Trump wants nato changed so that only US, UK, Canada, Germany and France are full members to get article 5 protection. He says he wants to remove any risk that the US can be drawn into a war for a small meaningless country

In unconfirmed reports, Vladimir Putin suffered a major heart attack in Moscow Sunday night and went in cardiac arrest before needed to be resuscitated.The event has reportedly sparked a massive “alarm” in the Kremlin’s inner circle. Recently, Putin’s health had been subject to debate with one video going viral that appeared to show Putin with a new scar in his throat area. A Telegram Channel believed to be run by a former Kremlin insider reported that incident saying the Russian leader was found by guards on the floor of the bedroom "lying on the floor, rolling his eyes." Putin was then moved to a special medical facility built in the apartment where he underwent intensive care, the source claims. What are your thoughts?

Fingers crossed, but I don’t see how a cardiac arrest would result in a procedure that left a scar on this throat area. You put an arterial line in his neck maybe.
 
Potentially more related to that cough, sounds kind of nasty.

He has come across a bit less sure of himself almost rattled lately so possibly a health scare but I suspect one way or another a less varnished version of the truth as to the situation in Ukraine has been seeping through.

Hungary is now an illiberal democracy. Doesn't belong on the EU and if he likes Putin so much he should take Hungary out of NATO and the EU.

I suspect that is something Russia has been working on all along - undermining Hungary so as to try and bring them into the fold in a Belarus like capacity. As amongst other things Hungary houses the Heavy Airlift Wing (SAC) it would cause some headaches.

If Russia had ground through Ukraine IMO their next move would have been to start nibbling away, there has obviously been some groundwork done within countries like Hungary, Slovakia, Serbia, etc. so as to get pro-Russian elements embedded deeply into their politics, with Ukraine giving access to their borders they could use that along with a build up of troops on the border to iteratively put pressure through that threat on them to leave NATO and the West's sphere of influence. Once they've done that they'd probably start turning to the Baltics.

He won't because he's a cowardly manchild like all the rest of these pretendy machismo figures, he knows he can only ever be this persona with the EU and never with Russia as they'd poison him the first chance they got.

According to BLID (keep in mind BLID can and does sometimes post rubbish like the daily mail), they claim the Russians are currently attempting to modify a Soyuz rocket that would fly up into orbit and then come down on a Ukranian city carrying 10 tons of high explosives

I have serious problems with this idea; one of which is systems like Patriot can work at high altitudes and the rest rocket would need to remain at a high altitude to avoid detection and then come down at a massive speed otherwise what's the point, its size already makes it easier to shoot down so it has to enter the detection range at a massive speed and the Soyuz and no other space rockets can survive this, they will all break up in the atmosphere and I don't see how they could just modify a Soyuz to survive that, they'd probably need an entire new design for this purpose

That would be a serious escalation on Vladolf’s part. The F117s and A10s are probably being readied as we speak.
