Yes that is definitely what the world needs, AI driven human killing machines acting autonomously. What could possibly go wrong...

Yes it's now £5 for 12 eggs. Thing is Russian citizens can do nothing about it. Putin will no doubt win the election with 95% of the vote.

I don't know what is more messed up, the Republican party or the EU requiring unanimity when it's supposed to be a democratic process. How many times do they have to shoot their own feet before they get their act together?

Good idea, but who is going to work in the factories that build these drones? Are you going to tell someone working in finance in the City "Give up your 350K quid a year job and instead go work in a factory for 30K"? Or a YouTube/Instagram/TikTok influencer? Or are we going to import more immigrants to do the work?

The military potential of the West is severely compromised by the lack of people who are willing to go work as soldiers or factory workers.

I don't know, perhaps some of the ~1 million people who are unemployed but have said they would want a job.

Even a small subset of those who prove capable should be more than enough.

They won't get their act together, Oban will block everything, ditto the Republicans..

Cant believe the EU don't act on Oban/Hungary, obvious dictator who's totally anti EU everything and indeed anything western leaning yet we pander to him, if the EU never thought of a situation where one member becomes ' rouge ' then they get what's coming.

Yeah!!! I mean who on earth would have thought that trying to get dozens of nations with vastly different beliefs, financial systems, politics, ethnicities etc to all agree on doing the same thing - and if if one disagrees it stops it all - would've been a bad idea when times are hard :eek:

It's almost like some people live in a fairy tale where everyone is "good" and we all club together against the "bad" people, rather than living in the real world where virtually everyone does what's best for themselves, even if it screws over others. You'd hope those people "in charge" wouldn't be driven by such base silliness but, here we are again I suppose with one silly sod holding up the whole EU until they bribe him to stay quiet!

There's having a difference of opinion then there is batting for the other team.

So you are saying if the EU has a genocidal Hitler esque idiot in charge of a member state then it's ok because everyone is different?? Tough luck..
