Man imagine working for someone where one mistake means you may never be seen again, he looks terrified.
Trump came close to imperilling Nato by genuinely raising the prospect of the US pulling out of it to his staff. Anyone who thinks he'd be good in any way shape or form during this needs their head looking at.
This could be a concern for Russia if that force is called up. They would significantly outnumber the current Russian forces in the area by about 6:1. If all are armed with NATO equipment that would probably catch Russia by surprise. It’s mad to think that if Ukraine call up their reserve forces to fight, Wladimir Klitschko will go to war.
He could live like a king anywhere in the world, but instead he’s chose to potentially risk his life to defend his country. You can’t knock that.
Weakest US president of my lifetime. Even Bill Clinton had more balls when they halfway in Monica.
Alternatively, a lot of Western European countries have been taking US military support for granted and haven't been spending what they agreed to spend on defence, countries like Germany are essentially letting US tax payers subsidise their defence spending while they're free to spend more on social programs, how is that fair on US tax payers? No I know, orange man bad.
Biden definitely isn't disincentivizing Putin from invading - if anything setting the ground for a limited conflict yet again in the hope of containing something more disruptive.
Spot on.Ukraine holds no strategic significance for the USA. Divide and conquer at its finest. Ukraine and Russia locked in a perpetual conflict which stunts progress for both countries whilst USA sweeps in to fill Russian gas hole with their LNG. Everything to gain and nothing to lose. Europe reaps higher energy prices, Ukraine and Russia in perpetual conflict. USA reigns supreme.
I was replying to a ridiculous comment with an equally ridiculous comment. Is that satire?
He regularly walked in Putin's shadow and imperilled Europe's trust in America.
Well logically, why shouldn't Europe exploit the relationship for it's own benefit?
I was replying to a rediclous comment with an equally rediclous comment.
Nothing wrong with following the bigger player, especially when national interest are aligned.
So, genuinely curious. What more, at this point, did you and the others criticising expect the US to do or say? Given that in order for any kind of diplomacy to work the US will still need cards to play. Ramping up of sanctions as Russia escalate things etc.
Fairly severe initial sanctions - check
Provide weapons to Ukraine - check
Bolster Nato countries next to Russia - check
What would your move have been at this point?!
Better than yours.Hi Vlad, how's the empire building going?
Because Americans will vote someone in like Trump, you do realise Europe is lucky to be under the umbrella of US protection, right?
The most wild thing about all this is the fact that Right Wing US commentators are actually on Putin's side...
Haven't seen that, appreciate if you could throw some links so I could have a look, sounds bizarre.
