No that was my opinion a week ago. They did not invade a week ago that was misinformation. A week later things have changed just like one time Iraq has wmds then they don’t.

I didn’t expect them to invade that’s the truth but things have changed. If this is an invasion then I’m wrong. Plenty of people have got things wrong in this thread and plenty of others.

There isn't really an "if" about it, Russian tanks and armoured vehicles have crossed the border from Belarus and also further invaded from Crimea.

I'm fed up of hearing about sanctions. Vlad doesn't care about sanctions as he's been building a self sufficient Russia that could hold its own for quite some time.

From what I've read he's got around $650b in reserves to call on to bail out banks and the economy if he chooses. Not sure how long that will last though.

Nuclear weapons create large explosions that flatten cities and can kill hundreds of thousands of people, they're generally a last resort.

Do you understand that the US and UK have nuclear weapons and didn't choose to use them in Afghanistan or Iraq? OR the Falklands in the case of the UK?

Russia needs to get Ukraine to lay down their weapons and have Russian security forces take over. Just look at the fake news their tolls are putting out. Russia wants Ukraine, and the Ukrainian people to be part of Russia again, not obliterate it from existence.

But his aim is to demilitarise Ukraine, surprised there hasn't been more strikes on units dug in now they've revelead their positions in order to push RU forces back

When you're invading somewhere to claim some land for yourself, it's not usually beneficial to absolutely level it with radioactive weapons.

That is not the same as NATO being involved, it's down to the host nation to supply whatever they think is necessary. Ukraine is on its own unless our idiot leaders decide to go solo.

War emergency powers, act of parliament, something like that. You only have rights while they let you have them really. It won't come to that though.

Maybe your not aware but nukes have been used in the past and have ended conflict as soon as they were dropped. Putin doesnt need to used big ones he is more than capable of using small tactical nukes and i wouldn't put it past him.
