**Unofficial Tyre Thread**

Currently running CSC5's on my 335i and the rears are getting near the markers, so I'm looking to replace in the next week or so.

I've been happy with the Conti's performance, however I'm tempted to give the PS4 a try; have just seen Michelin are offering 6 months interest free on BlackCircles too, which would help as most of my money is currently being sucked into the "Wedding savings black-hole"...

Any opinions on the PS4 would be welcome!

Just dropped the car off to get two F1 as3's on the front. It's already bugging me that the front and backs won't be the same but I can't let myself bin the tears with a healthy chunk of tread left

I'm hoping these tyres show a nice improvement over the Avons I'm coming from. Can finally put my foot down again without losing the fronts.

Quick question, I have Event tyres coming over to fit two new tyres tomorrow. The fitter has just called and said that they have received the wrong tyres, instead of Pilot sport 4s they have received the Super sports. Shall I go with these or re-book? They are £15 quid dearer each so a free upgrade?

just ordered yet another pair of rainsports for the taxi shed,

current bridgestones on the front were fitted at the start of January and are utterly horrid (potenzas) back to the tried and tested rainsports until I can get a ps4 in a 235/45/18

Good video, they are reviewing 10mm wider tyres than OEM but still interesting for me as its the right car. MPSS do have a big contrast between wet and dry so sounds good if the P4S are better in the wet.

Car has done 34k miles but i only found 1 receipt for rear tyres.

It's because when reviewing the PSS vs CSC6, the OE sizes were OE approved for Michelin, which would have been an unfair advantage.

That, plus they're bloody unusual sizes. The 255/275 allows for more flexibility in patterns.

FWIW, the car is still really well balanced on the 255/275. I'm not sure how it would be on the OE wheels, mine are aftermarket and a little wider.
