URGENT NOTICE: NEXT DAY DELIVERY

finaly goy my delivery after 15 days, dpd delivered it, total disgrace way came, boxes where in shreds, Corsiar psu was in some mess, as if bought 2nd hand :( 1 item short, usb card. but was sent out, who do i claim for this oc or dpd, only £16 , but why should i lose out on it when payed for it. not a happy person over this, out of pockect as well :(

Well my PC turned up after a long wait and it was damaged, give OCUK a call to RMA it and they sent someone out the next day to pick it up which was good, However when trying to get help through there webnote service you end up with an unhelpfull moron replying so if i was you i wouldnt go that route and give them a phone call atleast then you dont get messed around.

Turns out my package is out for delivery today, we're unaffected by the delays. Just worried about everyone receiving their packages in pieces, anyone got praise for DPD? They seem to have been quick with getting it from OcUK down to London so quickly and out for delivery, just worried about receiving the system in pieces - based on what's been said above. Doubt I could get it replaced before Christmas if I were to receive it broken.

To be honest, every item except orders in last couple of weeks have been exceptional. Delivered when they said, outer boxes were not damaged. Seems its all gone out the window slightly with backlog though. If they have caught up like they said then I wouldn't expect there to be any problems with your delivery.

I ordered a new build last friday for Saturday delivery (Im stupid, I know). I work near my local depot in Glasgow so I told them if they can get it to Glasgow (hopefully before the end of the week) I can just pick it up from there, saving them more hassel.

Think It'l happen?

Simple question. so why do OC continue to offer and accept payments for next day delivery when DPD cannot guarantee this service. Commercial agreement breakdown...

Depends, citylink stopped depo collections for everything north of Newcastle this after noon, if dpd have a similar backlog (likely considering how often their vans are up here, then probably not.

"Next Day (probably, it's complicated)" is a sucky name. Commercial agreement would also suggest terms and conditions, and such conditions are excepted.

The checkout, news page and forums has plenty of information to keep customers informed of delivery conditions.

We're doing more than any other retailer to keep customers informed and quite frankly, free delivery isn't an option here, it's not like you've paid 'extra' for next day, you've paid the standard for an insured tracked service which is still the service you will receive.

You've also only been waiting one day, the way things are at the moment they could even deliver it before the night is out!

they keep saying its been forwarded to glasgow and i can go and collect it straight from glasgow when it gets there. There lies the question, when will it get to glasgow. They cant tell me :/

I ordered at about 10pm on wednesday night.

My order status says: In our warehouse queue.
Does that mean it hasnt been shipped yet or has the status just not been updated?

I hoped it would go out yesterday.

Cheers.

I am surprised that Nottingham is so bad too, we've been without snow for a long time and royal mail were still getting post to my house on the regular during the snow. Aah well, can't make the most out of the 6970 till I upgrade the rest anyhow.

Royal mail gets priority though, and they have trains and planes most couriers don't :)

Special delivery is still guaranteed up here in Scotland until next Tuesday so if you're ordering soon pay the extra :p
