URGENT NOTICE: NEXT DAY DELIVERY

I ordered a bundle on the 22nd November. I ended up getting sent the wrong cpu, so RMA'd it back to OCUK. They had no stock to replace it with :(
They finally get stock yesterday, and now DPD are useless :(

Spent over £500 with OCUK in the last 30 days. Today I was going to order a graphics card for another £200, but now looking elsewhere. Really fed up.
If its not OCUK its DPD. :(

havent even bothered trying to contact DPD, seems pointless cos they'l only rabble a load of tosh anyway :/ just have to wait it out and have a moan about it!

funny though cos amazon river doesnt seem to find any problem delivering.. even when the weather was at its worst!

all the best mike

wont surprise me if people dont get parcels til after new year tbh, im hoping this 3day delay will let me have it on friday but im not holding my breath.. plus they dont deliver from like 24th to the 1st?.. quite unlucky that you had to wait 2weeks tho mike :|

Also, I don't think it's right to be asking for a refund on deliveries that are late tbh... as they are insured and tracked and are still delivered and it's obviously the lowest delivery DPD do.

I'm happy to pay £10 for an item to be delivered with no damage and a refund/replacement if it IS damaged, but receive it a few days late because of the snow that effected EVERYONE in the country.

I ordered a case last night knowing that it could possibly be delayed, but do I mind still paying the £10? No. It's £10. What is a couple of days when the whole country has come to a standstill because of the snow?

Good for you! lol
No listed disruptions to the DPD service in my area, its in the local depot, oh and no snow in my area to speak of. I've had recent deliveries, even with DPD when the weather was much worse, next day without problems. Now I have no snow, I have to wait even longer, for an item ordered 3 weeks ago! OCUK mess up, now its DPD. No more business from me I think...

I made my order early Monday, still on "in our warehouse queue" I really don't mind it being with OCUK, because it's a pre-built system and I assume the longer it's with them the less likely there is to be problems.. however I'm worried when it's put over to DPD, whether I'll actually receive it this week or not.. Considering I'm relying on it to come this week.

There is always a delay with prebuilt systems, they have to be assembled and tested by OCUK techies, then packed nice and safe.

well good :D and bad :( today - i have been slagging off DPD bigtime lately with having to wait 2 weeks for a next day delivery but today a taxi turns up with my new PSU :D all the way from newcastle to near whitby - realy pleased with them for going the extra mile to keep the customer happy ;) which you dont here of much nowadays.

but theres more to come  fit the new PSU - booted up, removed drivers for my gt9400, shut down -fit my new gtx480 booted up and a nasty gratting sound - thought i had bought a dodgy GPU but no the fan head on the new PSU had snapped off

just had enough by now :( so bugger the warranty on the new PSU - took the fan out of the old PSU a few wires spliced a couple of tie wraps and we are up and running :D and with the added bonus of the heat of the gtx 480 keeping me nice and warm on these cold winter nights

all the best to you all and hope your gear turns up soon ;)

mike

Wow, just wow

I know they've been putting everything in they can, our account manager is out delivering parcels, but a 70 mile taxi is extreme!
