'Angle shooting' is a new term for me but it doesn't quite cover the potential coaching issue, which would be just plain old cheating.

Tsitsipas' coach rather unconvincingly (imo) denied it yesterday, but the other players know something is going on there.

Strategic timeouts, feigning injury - I didn't really need any confirmation that he's taking inspiration from Djokovic.
 
I'll be honest, I don't see the issue with coaching during a match as long as it's on court and between sets or a change of ends. It's the lengthy bathroom breaks that they need to stamp out. If they can have a shot clock for serves they can have a clock for bathroom breaks.

That was a very impressive set of tennis!

I absolutely love aggressive tennis and Raducanu's about as aggressive as they come :cool:

Edit: Dodgy last few games but she dictated most of the points for the entire match.

Tsitsipas has had a time violation warning, a MTO and a coaching violation already tonight. He's literally stuck two fingers up to tennis this week.

Edit: Alcaraz is going to be some player in a few years, thought he was going to be a clay court specialist but he's got the groundstrokes for any surface.

Medv should now get to the final, wonder if he'll do it without dropping a set.

Zverev v Medv in the final would be a good one, the two stand out up and coming players with one of them finally getting their slam after being runner up (medv 2 iirc).

Or, Novax just sweeps past the two of them without any issue. :rolleyes:

The power she's got on both wings is ridiculous, she's hitting serves harder than Alvarez did last night as well. Technique > size and strength

Edit: 18 year olds aren't meant to do this, 6-0 against the world 41.
