yes you can use the controllers and base stations.

I think the Index has half the amount of pixels per eye. It'll be a huge step up - if you have the PC horsepower to run it

at the moment i have an i9/2080 but just ordered a new pc from this site in the bf deals i7 4090, so hoping it should work nicely.

There was a mention during the Varjo presentation in the Q&A, no Aero2 in planning. They said "well, you can still buy the Aero"

Hopefully you enjoy it, it took me a little bit to just get used to the Aero is separate from steam vr but once got used to that it's great, the vive original was all in one.

I have also pulled the trigger - only nervous about the vfov for dcs/ il2.

Playing around with my index the vfov above the horizontal is around 30/40 degs with 50/60 below so figured i should be okay with it

it's not 4 weeks. Just had a Varjo notification that the money has gone through and I'll be getting a tracking number within 5 days. Considering I bought it Friday eve.

The beyond doesn't interest me as the customisation wouldn't work for me as i'm not the only one that uses the headset but the OLED's mmmmm

i also recieved confirmation from Varjo and they have taken the cash no info about a tracking number though

Just had a shipping notification and tracking number. So it took 7 days from purchase to shipping, possibly another 5 days in post from China.
