because the general theme of all these vega threads is that people are stupid. they cant read what in front of them. there is no real price information, until the final driver releases are done nobody knows how its going to perform really. then you have the obvious nv trolls who derail every thread, and the amd trolls who try to counter them, there is no real balanced view points just mock rage from both sides.

hopefully once this card gets into circulation it will all calm down and we can see some real results from some real prices.

my guess is that most of retailers will set the prices with miners in mind, if it flies off the shelves they will increase, if not they will gradualy decrease, but i don't think we will see vega at MSRP anytime soon

Why would miners buy them? Pretty sure TweakTown already confirmed the RX Vegas aren't going to be great cards for mining.

with 70h, vega = 2 RX580, maybe with undervolting and better tweaking they could get more, think of it as extra stock of rx580 with better pricing, since 35h would cost you 250-300$ instead of the 500$ that 580s sells for right now.

Except Vega hashrate is closer to 34-37

They said nowhere near 100MH/s, so my guess would be closer to 40MH/s (like the FE).

That would be my guess also. Maybe over 40MH/s with the right tweaks (both from AMD and developer). Probably an attempt by the manufacturer to get miners interested and snap them up before seeing the real performance(if they were close to 100MH/s getting one on day one would be every miner's top priority).

If the rumours of close to 100MH/s were true then that would make them profitable at over £1000, it would be such a priority that miners would probably be offering to buy cards from gamers for higher than their purchase price lol.
