you could :) about 100c for a few mins see if it frees up, if not bash it back on and go again. Slowly but surely it will free up :) get yourself some mini clamps for fit up :)

Look at it all working. But no port, so I'll sort that next... I think a new port is in order the inside of that one is probably char grilled.

some details in here. Really its handy to know what is in the pad and then buy the right ones for what you are trying to fix :) but generally you can get them at places like mouser, digikey, aliexpress etc.

So Nomad - But they are region locked so first thing is first - I will need to region mod it!



Problem number 1) It's NTSC only so to use it we must mod it! Mods already ordered and soon we should have it working on UK power and UK (PAL) games with a dfo mod :D

Even though I've got a PS2 and PS3, I'd still rather like a BC PS3 just to play about with. It's a shame they didn't continue offering them as an "enhanced" PS3 model alongside the non-BC ones but I can understand why, given the prices at the time.

Never ever been opened. Warranty seal still in place! :) - Am thinking of possibly a 40nm RSX to replace the 60nm that will likely fail at some point - So replace the APU or a delid on it to make sure its got years to come for its new owner :)

Been playing with the Nomad a bit just to get an idea of what it's like before we open it up and inspect what has been done to it. So far we know it isn't stock but beyond that I dont know if any mods have been done properly or bodged. So regardless ive gone ahead and ordered in some stuff for it :D



As a Kid I would have absolutely loved this! what an awesome thing. So all my games are pal and they all run, well all of them so far apart from sonic spinball which complains about region saying its only to be run on uk and french consoles.

I mean have a read of this error.. secam mega drive.. sure



I know the screen looks a bit bad in the pics but it's miles ahead of the game gear. Think the screen needs an update though :D
